PayPal/Credit Card Ryanair Refund

Apologies if this has been discussed, I’m new to the page but desperate for help. I was meant to fly today with Ryanair. Ryanair are still flying but we are observing the FCO guidelines. On Saturday we decided to change our flights to next year as we were scared of loosing the money we had saved for the original flights (booked in Feb), to my surprise the cost has been £900+ which includes a £320 Admin fee. Can anyone help to advise if I can claim the original £800+ for the flights? I have had to borrow money off parents as we didn’t want to loose the original £800 but feel cheated that Ryanair have charged so excessively for booking our flights pre covid and I believe they are transferring flights for free June onwards (I could be wrong here).. I have put a claim in with PayPal but have been told I can’t claim on my credit card as I have gone through them and section 75 is invalid.

I hope somebody can help...just looking for an answer as to if I can claim on any part of it or is it a case I’ve transferred the flights and have to accept the costs?

thank you in advance, Lee
