Wonderful news, you have time to have fun and rest hopefully beforehand plus you will have a great Christmas I hope.Aiming for a minimal spend 20222

Thanks MF and SW
Matched betting and prolific are trickling slowly onwards, just earned £6 matched betting profit. Yesterday I went to the garden centre with mini and riotdude to find an angel for the top of our tree and we had lunch there, so spent £26. There was a big animatronic reindeer which mini was in love with, and we all had a great time looking at the decorations.
I've done a little bit of cleaning this morning and put the morrisons order in (£58) so now I'm going to relax on the sofa for the rest of the day. Chicken noodle soup for lunch and stew for tea, very cosy!2 -
It is good that you went out, glad mini riot enjoyed the garden centre decorations and reindeer. Rest and enjoy the soup. Yum perfect in this chilly weather.Aiming for a minimal spend 20222

There's something special about walking round a garden centre, always so much to see.

Thanks guys
You're right, riotdude makes fun of me but there is something really fun about garden centres! (I feel the same way about Costco)
Big news:
STUDENT FINANCE SORTED THEMSELVES OUT! WE'RE GETTING £2100 IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS!!! WOOHOO!!!
They've also awarded me £2500 in childcare grant but the system is a pain and it's only released through to the childcare provider when they upload bills- I'm going to ask nursery if they can upload the bills from when it should have been paid in the first place (June-October) and hopefully they'll allow me to essentially pay those bills again, building up some credit for the next couple of months.
So that should see us through nicely to my first paycheck and pay off some debt!
Ahhh, going to go and do a little happy dance around the living room now. Between this and having a confirmed start date for my job, I feel like we're officially out of the woods.2 -
