Thank you Ionafan......I don't drive a Dagenham dustbin anymore, more like a Dagenham pedal bin, boot space is so limited, I queued about 90 minutes and only got rid of about a quarter of my junk. The queue looked longer when I came out, so I couldn't face the effort of loading up again and in waiting. I may just have to get a skip and be done with it.
Round, so glad for your negative result for the 'Rona. Hope you feel more like yourself before too long.

Morning all
Save space on the naughty step for me! I seem to only be managing dailies lately.. another busy day of paid stuff awaits today and it’s going to be hot so I suspect little flying will be done. I did meal plan and do the shop last night so at least that’s done.
Have been awake since 4am, feeling shattered but it’s time to get myself moving.
Hope you all have a good day x7 -
MorningI'm excited grandkids plus their parents arrive today I am being told by 2pm, so we will wait and see, what time the 'we are now setting off' text arrives, it should take them about 3 hours.Got to go and get the last bit of food shopping, it seems I have bought 8 pints of the 'wrong' sort of milk, I don't drink the stuff, how am I suppose to know...........................!! plus I need beers!!Today's workmen, nil, zero
but there will be a skip collection, he says he is coming 'first thing'
So hoover around, remove from garden various sharp type garden structures, ie weather vane which is in a plant pot for now, and metal bird feeder you push into the ground, but when pulled out looks like a hay fork with prongs on it.Have a good dayBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Morning all. Hope your family arrives on time and you have fun Kaz.

Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.9 -
Good morning all
Awake at 1am, watched the clock for a couple of hours, then must have dropped off as next thing it was 7.15. Dull and mizzly here, so no better weather for getting myself into gear. I’ve polished up the naughty step for anyone who might want to join me, just in case.
I’ve changed our bed and bedding is in the wm, hope to hang it out later, but not looking promising atm. Next job, after a cuppa, is the HHI - DH didn’t shock surprise me by clearing it last night, as you would have guessed. Not sure he knows where to find the ironing board.
Kaz - have a lovely time with your family.
Off to look at the lists while I slurp my tea. Back later, have a lovely day, ladies.9 -
Morning all,
I was wide awake at 5, managed to drop back off so now I'm in bed with a cuppa. Got a long to do list to work through so can't linger long. I plan on sorting out the built in cupboard next to my bed, no doubt more rubbish to fling!I have decided to decorate DDs room myself, I confess I have never decorated before but needs must now... any pointers on absolute basics that I must adhere to would be appreciated flyladies.Still send vibes to flylady sons, and Kaz have a fab time with your family xxHave lovely days all xx9 -
Morning all. Might have to join some of you on the naughty step already! The downstairs of my house looks lovely and tidy but the upstairs is another matter! Bathroom will be done on Saturday just before we have visitors for the first time since Christmas but need to get on top of the bedrooms and the landing. Have managed to keep on top of the dailies though so that's made me happy.

Morning all. Been WAC member since 5.15 and watched the sun rise again. Drank tea and did a jigsaw puzzle and a little bit of admin, and FUPA dry washing before breakfast.
DH wasn't feeling well again yesterday evening so I may have to cancel taking my car back to get the radio fixed at lunchtime. I was also hoping to meet up with DS1 and DGDs for a dog walk on the big hill, but that too is off the cards. DH has rung the surgery and is now awaiting a call back from a GP between 10 and 11, and possibly also from the nurses who change his dressing - he was due to get that done today. Hey-ho.
I need to move stuff out of the study, cover the bed properly, fill the large holes in the walls, and sand down when the plaster's dry.
Enjoy your grandkids, kaz!
(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks all round xx
