    Here's our timeline:
    16 Dec - Dip
... bit of faff while we switch conveyancers who turned out not to be on a bunch of lender panels including Leeds...
    21 Dec - full application
21 Dec - hard search appeared on credit report
4 Jan - some further documents requested (confirmation of mortgage payment holiday, previous employment payslips and credit card statements)
8 Jan - valuation survey completed

And now we are playing the waiting game!
Update: we received our offer today! Full timeline below:

I'm pretty impressed with the speed of Leeds looking at some of the other threads on the forum.
    Good luck everyone!

Hi, yes they did. My wife started a new job at the end of November and they wanted to see the last three months' payslips for the previous job.

  • Timeline so far:

    14th December: Application submitted
18th December: Mortgage declaration signed and submitted along with requested documents
4th January: Mortgage valuation carried out
6th January: Valuation report received, awaiting assessment
Just to add to our timeline...
    14th December: Application submitted
18th December: Mortgage declaration signed and submitted along with requested documents
4th January: Mortgage valuation carried out
6th January: Valuation report received, awaiting assessment
    12th January: Mortgage offered!

We still have to wait for the offer to arrive in the post and sign/send back etc etc but the hard part is over (I hope).

I will take great pleasure in telling our existing lender (Platform) to do one. Getting our fees back will be more fun and games I expect - they mentioned something about sending a cheque last time I spoke to them about it :/

Our LTV is 80% if that helps. We've gone for a 2 year fix at 1.89%, £999 product fee (added to the loan).

i'm in a similar position. they asked me for statements from my other bank account as well so i hope that means that's a good thing that they're looking further.

    the wait is nerve racking!

We were asked for bank statements etc before they did the valuation so it sounds like they're reviewing the application for underwriting, which I think is good news! We were really impressed with how quick they were, considering the stamp duty holiday/COVID lockdown/Christmas and New Year closures. Time to offer is currently 21 working days according to their website if that helps, so about 4 weeks if you include weekends.

They've been very quick to issue offer paperwork as well, our broker got her copy the same day as the offer was issued and our solicitor received hers the next day. We've not received ours yet as it's being posted so takes a bit longer, but the offer was only issued on Tuesday afternoon.
