I’ve been told to expect an outcome either today or tomorrow. The waiting is the worse part.
They have requested more documents probably 3 times now, our broker has said we should know by Friday at the latest.

We have called Leeds for an update as our broker is not replying to messager and not answering his phone. We have sent additional info on the 15th or 16th October (can't remember as I'm fuming now). Leeds have contacted the broker on the 26th October because they couldn't open some of the attachments, the broker only replied to them YESTERDAY. And they were still missing one thing, which we confirmed on the phone today (asked if hubby is on furlough - he isn't). I'm feel messed about
22/09 - application submitted with Leeds BS, long story short, on the 9/11 we've been told that Leeds is reducing the amount they're willing to lend by nearly £20k (turns out our broker FORGOT to declare our child on the application)
10/11 - found another mortgage advisor
11/11 - AIP with Santander (single applicant, shared ownership, 85LTV)
12/11 - all documents sent
13/11 - application with Santander submitted and passed to underwriting. Valuation booked for 23/11
19/11 - mortgage agreed, subject to a satisfactory valuation
23/11 - mortgage offer issued
19/12 - completed0 -

Heard back from my broker apparently all of documents have now been assessed and they are satisfied.
However we are waiting for our valuation report to come back from countrywide, how long did everyone else’s take to come back?
Can I relax a little bit now?! Or not until we get the offer0 -
We've just got our mortgage offer through!!
If I could give anyone a word of advice, check regularly if your solicitor is all set to go. If they are, get your MA to contact LBS and let them know, we weren't supposed to hear back until 13th Nov but because we were just waiting on LBS, they got everything sorted within 2 working days when our MA told them everyone was ready.
Thanks so much to everyone on this thread that has kept me sane!! Best of luck and fingers crossed you all hear something soon15-Sep Mortgage application submitted17-Sep Hard credit search (2 days in)06-Oct Letter from LBS confirming initial assessment (15 days in)29-Oct Additional information requested (32 days in)29-Oct Additional information sent (confirmed we'd never taken a payment holiday).
4-Nov Solicitor confirmed they were ready to go. MA rang LBS to chase and let them know everything was ready on our side. LBS responded that they'd give us either an update or offer within 2 working days.

Congratulations to everyone who had their offers
We've had a reply from our MA last night tk say that apparently he's hears nothing from Leeds on the 26th October, that he's spoken to them 2 days ago, they have advised about the attachments that they couldn't open, he's sent everything through and they sakd to give them a call on Friday (today) which is what he was supposed to do first thing today. Because we've heard nothing, I called him at 12, no answer. I've messaged him - no reply....I feel like he's messed up and now ignoring us

We're going to speak to our MA and solicitor about this on Monday, but has anyone had the below mentioned as part of their mortgage offer?
What happens if you move house?
You do not have the possibility to transfer this loan to another property. You do not have the right to transfer this loan to another lender.
I'll update the thread with what we hear but is this quite normal for a mortgage application? Surely we wouldn't have to pay off our complete mortgage before moving to a different property?....
