I just wanted to share my own experience so far. It looks like most of you have had valuations completed before the letter regarding the initial assessment? Our timeline is as follows so far!15-Sep Mortgage application submitted17-Sep Hard credit search (2 days in)06-Oct Letter from LBS confirming initial assessment (15 days in)29-Oct Additional information requested (32 days in)29-Oct Additional information sentAm I correct in assuming the submittion of additional information now pushes us back another 15 days?
Many thanks in advance!I didn’t know my valuation was done until I rang Leeds to pay £35 lol .0 -
I have a feeling we are going to be well and truly screwed by this lockdown and my husband going back on furlough for a month. I think they may decline us now0

I think they may decline us now22/09 - application submitted with Leeds BS, long story short, on the 9/11 we've been told that Leeds is reducing the amount they're willing to lend by nearly £20k (turns out our broker FORGOT to declare our child on the application)
10/11 - found another mortgage advisor
11/11 - AIP with Santander (single applicant, shared ownership, 85LTV)
12/11 - all documents sent
13/11 - application with Santander submitted and passed to underwriting. Valuation booked for 23/11
19/11 - mortgage agreed, subject to a satisfactory valuation
23/11 - mortgage offer issued
19/12 - completed0 -

I'm curious, did you just ring up LBS yourself to find out about the application? Our mortgage advisor seems to prefer everything to go through her...
Cheers!
