Wow that’s quicker than 34 working days .SJH88 said:We received our mortgage offer today. 4 weeks today our mortgage application went in, didn't asked for any info other than issue with my partner's driving licence. Just so relieved. I'm sure everyone else's won't be long
congratulations
didn’t they ask for more paperwork? Did you have to send driving licence again? Just so I get a idea if you had to submit a document0 -
I have asked our MA about the pre & post offer correspondence queue and he said that the pre offer correspondence is what we're looking at. The wait is killing me 😱sofsar said:
It’s the morgage hub timeline which is quick and annoying to see. they should rather concentrate on the current applications.Monik2510a said:Any news anyone?
The pre and post offer correspondence is now 10 days, we're hoping for an update this week.I asked what does post offer mean on here and no one replied as they always mention 15 days underwriting que.
22/09 - application submitted with Leeds BS, long story short, on the 9/11 we've been told that Leeds is reducing the amount they're willing to lend by nearly £20k (turns out our broker FORGOT to declare our child on the application)
10/11 - found another mortgage advisor
11/11 - AIP with Santander (single applicant, shared ownership, 85LTV)
12/11 - all documents sent
13/11 - application with Santander submitted and passed to underwriting. Valuation booked for 23/11
19/11 - mortgage agreed, subject to a satisfactory valuation
23/11 - mortgage offer issued
19/12 - completed0 -

Our mortgage advisor was really good tbh, he went over and above and sent them everything he could think they might ask for. The issue was my partner's passport had expired and driving licence was registered to an old address so they needed an additional utility bill. Our MA had escalated our case with letter from our solicitor so that's why they allowed us to sent the bill and the case was looked at again today. The letter from our solicitor was sent in last mondaysofsar said:

Like I said Leeds sent me this letter that’s how I know I have it , it’s dated 24th
i spose my broker is a wider company that’s why they replied quickly but my rate is 2.29 on flexi plan, which my broker never told me too but I’m happy I have the mortgage as my chain was waiting for me0 -

Our timeline is as follows so far!15-Sep Mortgage application submitted17-Sep Hard credit search (2 days in)06-Oct Letter from LBS confirming initial assessment (15 days in)29-Oct Additional information requested (32 days in)29-Oct Additional information sentAm I correct in assuming the submittion of additional information now pushes us back another 15 days?
Many thanks in advance!0
