Hello,
what are people’s experiences with BTL mortgages with Leeds in terms of timeline?
thanks0 -
Hi guys!
Just wanted to update you - we are now moved in to our brand new home 🏡 We managed to complete on Friday... so although it took a lifetime for Leeds to approve the mortgage the rest we t through so quick...!
Just wanted to reiterate that it does seem like forever that Leeds take to approve but it is so true that when you're in your new house the waiting is a distant memory 🥰

25/9 First questions and soft credit search
29/9 Confirmed answers to LBS direct as my MA couldn't get through we're told it would join 12 day underwriting queue again
01/10 Received letter about initial search through the post dated 25/9
We were told we should hear something by the 20th.

did you do your searches before the offer?
I still haven’t done mine yet as I’m worried about Leeds would say about my job change 4 months ago as it’s a different field. Says they require 6 months in same field0 -

11/11 - AIP with Santander (single applicant, shared ownership, 85LTV)
12/11 - all documents sent
13/11 - application with Santander submitted and passed to underwriting. Valuation booked for 23/11

We received our mortgage offer today. 4 weeks today our mortgage application went in, didn't asked for any info other than issue with my partner's driving licence. Just so relieved. I'm sure everyone else's won't be long0
