10/11 - found another mortgage advisor
11/11 - AIP with Santander (single applicant, shared ownership, 85LTV)
12/11 - all documents sent
13/11 - application with Santander submitted and passed to underwriting. Valuation booked for 23/11
19/11 - mortgage agreed, subject to a satisfactory valuation
23/11 - mortgage offer issued
19/12 - completed0 -
We've had an update, additional info requested:
- lmy partners last year's p60
- a form for me to sign (as the mortgage will be in my partners name and I will be living in the property)
Fingers crossed. Now right at the back of the queue 🔥22/09 - application submitted with Leeds BS, long story short, on the 9/11 we've been told that Leeds is reducing the amount they're willing to lend by nearly £20k (turns out our broker FORGOT to declare our child on the application)

Thought i would give you some positive news for anyone sick of waiting for leeds.
Applied 20th August, no broker and BTL Mortgage
Every query they asked resulted in being put back in the 12 day queue. Early Oct they asked for proof of deposit which i already supplied, sent it again and called up, they said i have to go in the queue again. That was up on Monday. Got an email Monday asking were the deposit had come from, i was fuming. Another email sent and a call, was told im now back in the queue, i was fuming. As i was complaining on the phone and telling them it was ridiculous to be put back in queue for a query that required a one line answer i heard a ping, opened email to "Mortgage approved and offer in the post"
I told the advisor this and she checked with the underwriter, she said as it was a small query the underwriter was monitoring it for a quick reply and was willing to approve it if it came straight back.
Good luck everyone and remember if you get a query and can respond quick it may be with a shot to avoid the dreaded queue.2 -
