I've gone through a broker so already done this, was just wondering if they would then ask to see evidence from my gifter of where the funds came from. I like to be prepared!0 -
My solicitor has only asked for the ID and proof of address, they haven't asked to see the source of fundsBurgerandchips said:

We provided the solicitor with ID and proof of address and then the solicitor sent a letter to our gifter, rather than us, to ask for proof of funds0 -
Nope. They've not sent anything to my dad, it didn't state in the pack either under gifted deposit section that they would require itBurgerandchips said:

We are using a gifted deposit. We used a broker and prior to putting the mortgage application in they had our gifters complete Leeds gifted deposit letter from their website. We also had to provide a bank statement showing the funds in our gifters bank account. Leeds didn't need anything else apart from this (our mortgage got approved last week).becky8690 said:Anyone using a gifted deposit? If so what evidence did they ask for! Want to make sure I have everything together if the underwriter asks for it0 -
