    Hi. Joining this forum today. We sent our mortgage application to Leeds yesterday (15/09/2020). Has anyone else sent their application in the past week, have they had any updates?

    I sent all my documents and forms to my mortgage broker on 10th September and haven't heard anything since. An identity check popped up from LBS on my equifax report yesterday.

    I'm very nervous as my equifax score is in the Poor bracket solely due to credit utilisation. I don't have any missed payments or any other adverse events on my credit report so I'm hoping for the best!

    I haven't heard anything since 19th August so hang in there! Found out from the HA that the valuation has been booked in for next week though so its  good start :)
    LBS 95% LTV Shared ownership application
    3/8 DIP agreed
    5/8 Applied for plot with HA
    13/8 Accepted for plot with HA
    19/8 Full application with Leeds
    23/9 Valuation completed and OK
    25/9 First questions and soft credit search
    29/9 Confirmed answers to LBS direct as my MA couldn't get through we're told it would join 12 day underwriting queue again
    01/10 Received letter about initial search through the post dated 25/9
    We were told we should hear something by the 20th.
    14/10 Mortgage offer received (working day 40)
    23/10 Completion and moved in!

    Has your mortgage broker sent off for an AIP/DIP for you?

    I know, it's such a stressful and anxious time. Hopefully we will get there soon. I just hope that the wait is worth it and that we don't get to the end and get a 'no' 🥴

    Hopefully you hear something soon! Our MA has said it’s normally a month before you receive an offer. We also received an email that our valuation is booked in for next week!

    We've just been issued our mortgage offer!! Our timeline was:

    7th August: Submitted full application (all supporting documents sent)
    10th August: Lender declaration completed and sent off
    11th August: Hard check carried out. Paid product fees and Leeds instructed valuation
    23rd August: Leeds had come back to broker with an additional question surrounding childcare costs for when I return to work in November following maternity leave. Also received a letter from Leeds saying that they've completed the initial assessment and they are liaising with our broker in regards to any outstanding bits needed to ensure a mortgage offer can be produced as soon as possible
    28th August: Broker chased Leeds regarding valuation and confirmed that its been booked in for the 14th September. 
    14th September: Valuation completed
    17th September: Mortgage offer issued

    If my calculations are correct it took 29 working days. 
    Fingers crossed for everyone else who is still waiting!
