Letter is dated 13th Aug. Our valuation was done on 6th and had more questions asked on 13th. So they sent the letter same day as more questions. 🤷🏻♀️ It’s all very frustrating and hate waiting. 🤣First time buyer- Shared ownership- 13/7 DIP Leeds- soft search- 20/7 told we got house-21/7 instructed solicitor- 27/7 sales memo and full application- 30/7 hard search- 3/8 mortgage declaration sent- 6/8 told valuation complete
13/08 questions from underwriters
17/08 letter to say initial assessment completed.
20/8 Broker says it will be another week until more communication from Leeds.
27/08 Mortgage approved0 -

They must of done mine the other way around then. Yeah i hate waiting as well. Yeah but didn’t you reply immediately answering their questions? So maybe they wrote the letter after you replied

You get the letter at the same time they send you questions, it's the first time they look at your file I beleive the letter is sent automatically when they open up your file for the first time.0

I never got one and have got further questions 👀0

Just called LBS for an update - They are still stating 6 days over phone. Said all that's left to do is Underwriters look at Valuation and should have offer on Friday.0

I spoke to my broker yesterday. Still saying Monday for me. If they haven’t contacted me by then I will chase but don’t want to keep bothering the broker.0
