From personal experience, and from reading a lot of other comments here QQ and P2P are unlikely to ever accept fault and will only ever offer a relatively small 'gesture of goodwill'. For example, my complaint was worth approx. £1k with QQ and £1k with P2P, however they offered £150 for each to try and keep me from escalating it.
Send it straight to the FOS as you will end up sending it to them anyway.
agreed, they've had their chance to resolve it.0 -

I waited the 8 weeks, they asked for another 4 weeks. At the end of the 4 weeks they asked for an additional 2 weeks. I've not seen it happening to anybody else? I'm pretty confident with this complaint as I have an email stating I couldn't afford to pay the loan but they continued to lend many, many times after that. The additional 2 weeks ends next Friday - just want to avoid escalating to the ombudsman.
the ombudsman were nothing but fair in my case, I stated and set out the complaint clearly.
I am in the same situation with wonga emailed stated I couldnt afford but still lent to me etc.0 -
Hi all, I had the fos uphold my complaint and ask peachy to review 2013-2014, as i was really struggling then. peachy in hindsight I should of asked to remove all entries on my report.
but the fos advised peachy will only remove the entries for the years I complained - fair enough.
I emailed peachy on the off chance yesturday asking for them as a good will gesture can they please consider removing all entries for my loans with them I did not want any monetary refund for 2014-2015. they have been pretty good and removed them.0 -
Finally had some great news with Wonga - offering a refund of £2000, which is exactly what I thought would be fair for them to repay back. They also said they would be removing the relevant loans from my credit file too, bringing me 3 years closer to having a clean credit file.
I confirmed my bank details with them this morning, and they said the refund takes 3 to 5 working days from the day you get a confirmation email saying the refund had been processed. The mediator said that this usually happens on a Friday. Assuming they don't process it today, I'm anticipating that it could take up to 2 weeks to get the refund into my account.
After years of debt shame, I'm going to be able to move on properly with my life!0 -

Hi MARKOS, the FOS have said an adujicator will be assigned to my cases within 12 weeks ( Standard FOS Letter) PDUK have not given a Final Response so the Manager has written to them. PDUK ignore as long as possible so that you give up, I can tell PDUK if you are reading these Forums, I will not give up:cool:0
