Excellent newsQuis custodiet ipsos custodes?0 -
So I have sent my usual one email a week to wonga requesting an update.
however I had a different email from Wonga today saying I had sent my DSAR with £10 deposit for the efforts. (which I did) but they said there was a delay in providing these to me even though Someone had already emailed all of them to me. So i have asked for the refund of the £10 back, it seems someone is reviewing my case hopefully I'll get a reasonable response back from them soon.0 -
Wonga seem to be taking their sweet time with my refund.0

this will benefit you if you have to approach the fos it saves them alot of time and effort.
Sorry - I meant, 2 weeks after the additional 4 weeks that they have been asking for?
I waited the 8 weeks, they asked for another 4 weeks. At the end of the 4 weeks they asked for an additional 2 weeks. I've not seen it happening to anybody else? I'm pretty confident with this complaint as I have an email stating I couldn't afford to pay the loan but they continued to lend many, many times after that. The additional 2 weeks ends next Friday - just want to avoid escalating to the ombudsman.0 -
Advice regarding pounds to pocket needed.
I am now into my 11th week of waiting for a reply from p2p, this is the time from which they asked for up to 8 weeks to review my complaint. I have emailed at week 7,8,9,10 had no response what so ever.
Do I go to the FO? or will they want me to wait till I hear my final response?
TIA0 -

If I were you I'd take it to the FOS. From personal experience, and from reading a lot of other comments here QQ and P2P are unlikely to ever accept fault and will only ever offer a relatively small 'gesture of goodwill'. For example, my complaint was worth approx. £1k with QQ and £1k with P2P, however they offered £150 for each to try and keep me from escalating it.
Send it straight to the FOS as you will end up sending it to them anyway.0
