• ^ Exactly the same as me delete, 8 weeks is up tomorrow, I gave their final resolution team a call this morning for an update and they advised me they are just now dealing with complaints from mid November so it would be a couple of months before they get to mine (submitted mid February) as they have to go through them in the order received

They advised I go to the FOS and they will correspond with them instead of me

Hi

Has anyone dealt with CFO lending? I had 2 loans with them when I was at my very worst time in the payday cycle. They have emailed me back today saying there are a 'no credit check short term loan'??? Therefore I cant argue it was unaffordable, even though I owed QuickQuid £400 + interest and Wonga £600 + interest at the time on a £1100 wage.

QuickQuid and Mr Lender are looking into my complaint now, QuickQuid have advised upto 8 weeks, and Mr Lender 4 weeks. Still waiting for my account info from Wonga.

Just a little update from me: through the FO PDUK offered me £334 as a refund which in her email the adjudicator stated she thought was an acceptable offer. I replied saying that I disagreed and would like the balance of the account (£388) wiped off and the refund of £334. I sent a lengthy email documenting the loans and rollovers. She has now gone back to PDUK for a reponse and said that thinks that it's a fair counter offer.
I feel very lucky to have had refunds from 3 companies but I still feel that PDUK should stand accountable also.
I first submitted an email to them 27th Nov and then a complaint 4th Dec. It's been with the FO since February.
I still have a complaint with the FO for 247moneybox but have heard almost nothing about this and the ajudicator isn't very forthcoming. It definitely feels a little like luck of the draw who get your complaints as I have had dealing with 3 ajudicators now and one in particular is fantastic the other 2 are quite slow to respond.

As I stated months ago if the PDL had paid out quickly this would have disappeared from public forums. I believe this will now go on for years, just like PPI and Bank Charges. We all know who the main culprits are who think they are beyond law and justice. Just be prepared for a long drawn out battle and you could get some redress from the Predators.

The Money Shop have really, really chuffed me off. Thanks to Sara on Debt Camel I've just sent them a very cross email with a lot of stuff in about the FCA. They're refusing to provide statements and when I rang them yesterday they basically said its company policy not to and neither will they provide any information about the credit checks as they 'don't have to' they did provide one sheet of paper from 2013 which shows an amount of interest of £650 but I basically emailed them back and nicely said I know your game, I've been loaning from you since 2007 and I know I can only go back 6 years but even in the space of the 3 years (last loan was 2013) if nine months worth of interest charges is 650 then its pretty clear the interest must be into the thousands and they're trying to wriggle out of paying!
I've put the complaint in and asked them to outright issue their final response if they're still refusing the statements so I can take this to FOS.
I've also pulled them up on the tone of their letter, it's really upset me!
None of this seems to be going right! That's added to the fact MyJar lied outright and said I only paid them £91 interest over the course of my loans- using the statements they sent its actually £350- I don't see how they could lie like that!

• Final response from wonga as 'good will gesture of £50'
Wonga was the smallest debt I had, 3 loans and paid around 400 in interest, they were also the first pdl company I used so there wasn't any history of other pdl's at the time just a lot of defaults and late payments from credit cards etc.

Yeah same with me, I forgot all about them until I went through my bank statements. Were they awkward at first or just give you the refund?

I have given QQ and PDUK extra time to resolve my complaint, FOS forms will be sent this weekend, I will be asking for extra payments for distress caused by these two Predators.
