Would love to hear how you get in with this.
My Qq claim is about to go in. Did anyone email Qq reminding them time was up or just go straight to FOS.Don’t put it down - put it away!

Wonga asked for the standard 4 extra weeks. And all the others time is up! So off to the FOS I go!
It is true that they don't have to do a full credit check. They class a basic search which really just confirms your name, address and a few other bit as sufficient. The FOS agrees that this is all that needs to be done.
That said, my credit report showed that Wage day advance did a full credit search on me before issuing two of my loans. I'd therefore check your credit file to see if they did the same on your application. If they did a full search, they should have all they information they needed and, even if they didn't use it, you've got a much better chance when going to the FOS.0 -
Just asked Very to send me my previous statements, as most have gone missing, and was told it would be £5 per annual statement, and my account goes back as far as 2011....!
told them to stuff it, and its more fuel for my complaint!!!0 -
Some of the banks charge £5 per copy statement and that will be a month.
It may be different for catalogues but it seems that charging is not illegal.Aiming to make £7,500 online in 20220 -

Hello
Great to hear that many people are having success from these companies
I myself have had great success in getting refunds but i do have a query regarding cash genie
Long story short i complained end of last year due to the redress scheme and got a refund of £160 i then out of the blue in January 2016 received an email from cash genie stating they had gone into liquidation and that i had over paid on my loan, how i dont know as i had received a refund, anyway i then emailed as the email stated to confirm my details and had no reply so phoned the number which took 3 days to get through, eventually i did and was told to wait 12 months for a cheque, i asked how much it was for and no one knew and said they dont know at the moment but will receive in 12 weeks, i didnt receive it so i emailed and they said by the end of March i will receive it, anyway i still havent received anything and despite sending several emails to the customer redress email, managers emails and cash genie no one has got back to me not even to tell me how much it is for
It is annoying me now that i am not even getting a reply and i cant get through on the phone
It is now over 12 weeks and i still havent heard anything, any one got any suggestions?
As anyone received the same email or letter back in January?
Any advice greatly appreciated

Hi all,
I have just received my first rejection of my complaint from Mr Lender in a 4 page email.
I did only have 1 loan with them, however it took 4 months for me to pay it back, they also state I rolled over the loan twice, I could not afford the next payment so defaulted then incurred late fees. However they say “At no time during your loan did you inform us or show any signs that you could be struggling financially”. Surely the fact I rolled over twice and incurred late fees would show this??? £300 loan (Actually £283 as I had to pay a £17 admin fee) total repaid £601.90.
I also had a 600 loan with Wonga and a £400 loan with QuickQuid in the same month. Would that have showed on a credit check?
I dont know if its worth going to the FO with just 1 loan. Its QuickQuid and Wonga I had most of my loans with, 28 with QQ and I’m guessing more with Wonga (Still waiting for my account info from Wonga)
Do you think it worth going to the FO for the 1 loan?0 -
Hi Danni8787, as I have said before you have nothing to lose so escalate to the FOS, the PDL will be charged for the referral.:cool:0
