Received a reply from Quick quid today - they are looking into it and will respond in 8 weeks. Pounds to pocket replied too to say that my request has been declined and my credit score was good. Really!?!? I had 13 payday lenders at one time and my credit score was good!? Can I take it to FOS now? Do I have to wait until they all reply or can I do it one at a time?LBM March 2013 DFD August 2016

Hi Exited_to_be_free, The lender has 8 weeks to deal with your complaint, if they reject your complaint in the first instance, E-Mail or phone and ask if it is their final response. The FOS will deal with your complaint once you have a FINAL Response.0

Email sent off to quick quid, just need to wait and see now.
I was paying off the loans at the time, but this meant having to borrow from others or rolling over-the definition of unaffordable...Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?0 -

Just realised my last post was wrong. Its Wage Day Advance that the FOS has upheld my complaint for. WDA are still to get in touch with me 7 days later, but it does look like I will be getting something back from them. My estimate is approx. £400.
Uncle buck were written to by the FOS on 2nd Feb, I called them today and they denied ever getting any documentation from the FOS. Total lie of course designed to delay things. I will be calling the FOS today to inform them of this, and hopefully this will help shuffle things along.
I'm still waiting for an update from the FOS after I rejected the QQ and P2P 'gesture of goodwill'. And still waiting for anything from the FOS on my Satsuma complaint.
I wrote my first complaint letter to the Payday lenders on 20th October 2015. To date I have received approx. £2200 back, I expect that to reach £4000 by the end of the process.
Keep up the good work people. Lets make these scumbags regret their greedy tactics.0 -
Just having a quick read through this thread, I didn't have a clue about loan companies repaying customer who they irresponsibly lent money to.
I had a credit into my account from Instant cash loans for £160 last night and I haven't applied for any loans at all lately so a quick google brought me to this thread. I assume it might be compensation?
That got me thinking that lender Payday UK around 2012-13 constantly allowed me to reschedule my loan month after month onto the next month making me pay god knows how much interest each month. Eventually they stopped this after more than 6 months and I had to set up a payment plan to get out of the loan loop with them.
Would I have any sort of case with PDUK? If so, any advice on how to go about it would be appreciated, really am clueless on this subject.0
