They will comply and payout what the FO decides. Not heard of any PDL refusing to pay after they have lost.

I finally received my account information from PDUK. They never responded to my emails., I had been emailing since 27th November. I spoke to them over the phone on this number last week and the 2 people I spoke with were helpful 08002802548. The second person I spoke to though did tell me that they are only just looking at complaints made in October!

I want to say this phone number is very good - I called Wednesday and have just received my statements for PDUK and Payday Express.

So I'd paid £212.50 in interest to PDUK and have an outstanding balance of £164.07. £495 interest to Payday Express with an outstanding balance of £310.00. Honestly not sure if I paid anything to a collection agent for these - had so many accounts!!

My question is do I put in one complaint as they both come under Instant Cash Loans Limited or do it separately?

    Thanks
  • After accepting Wonga's offer Tuesday evening the money was in my account today. Have had emails also today from FO acknowledging my other complaints. Those first 8 weeks of waiting for the PDL companies to reply seem to go on forever but I'm at week 12 now and things are starting to really happen. Good luck everyone, keep at it :)

Hi debtwoes, i would send them separate, the FOS may group them together.
  • OK thanks I'll try that over the weekend. When I was taking the loans I always saw them as separate companies (although many of the loans did overlap!!!)

Good Luck DebtWoes, Loans overlapping is a classic sign of unaffordable lending according to the FOS.
  • Poster on DC website has the news that I have been predicting. FO has awarded this poster £100 because PDUK have ignored their request for a statement of accounts. Maybe now QQ and PDUK will get a move on with complaints and stop delaying and ignoring customers.
  • So glad I found this thread. I sent the initial email (as detailed on debtcamel website) to get info on my accounts. PDUK and Payday Express have sent me the 'Sorry but we are still investigating, and it's now more than 8 weeks blah blah blah final resolution' I decided to log onto my accounts and get the details and send the second letter (on debtcamel website) to them. So now the clock has started :) I calculated that I paid over £2300 in interest alone to Wonga!!! And when I logged onto my online banking and went as far back as 2011 I realised that I had 13 payday lenders!!!!!! Towards the end the amount I had to pay back to one was £1093 and I only earned £1050
I'm so embarrassed about how I let things go, but I have been in a DMP since 2013 and have not missed one payment and things are so much better now.

So now just waiting for my interest and charges back!

Well done to everyone who have had positive results. I am keeping my fingers crossed for everyone else

  • Hi exited_to_be_free, You have a solid case I think, just stick with it and I think you will be due some serious compensation, if they keep on ignoring you it makes your case stronger for the FOS to deal and negotiate for you if you get to this stage.:)

Thank you Delete33! PaydayUK and Payday Express have denied me access to my online account. Nevertheless I sent them the email tonight.
