I agree justinsrival, lots of consumers have paid in full on time. Affordability is the key question and did the PDL really bother doing credit checks?
  • Omg am shocked!! MyJar (previously Txtloan) have responded 5 days after my complaint and have offered a refund of just over £2.5k including 8% and to remove from credit report!! I am so glad I found this thread I probably would not have thought to complain otherwise...thank you so much to all who post!!

1 down 5 to go....Dont expect the others to be as easy!! Good luck to all waiting....miracles do happen (sometimes!!):money::money:

Thats the way to go tibawo. Hope you are successful !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • On the FO Website you can search the data Base of logged complaints. I looked up QQ 6 cases were turned down and 43 ruled for QQ to repay interest etc
    Very promising
  • Great info debtfree2016x, spotted 35 cases ruling against Payday uk so it is looking promising as you say.
  • Hi, I'm looking to do this with a few Payday lenders. I had success with QuidMarket a couple of years ago but never thought of going through the process with the others.

I'm having a problem with Payday UK. I went on the live chat a couple of weeks ago and asked for an account statement for them and the other companies under the Instant Cash Loans umbrella (I can't remember the name but I did note I had loans with one of the other companies). I haven't received anything and chased a couple of times with live chat but still nothing. Any advice on what to do about this?
  • Hi DebtWoes, PDUK and QQ are ignoring peoples requests and the FO. These PDL are the worst of the worst. They have 8 weeks to respond, keep on at them then escalate to the FOS, I have been ignored by PDUK for 3 weeks , they will learn a hard lesson one day. Read DebtCamel.co.uk for more advice.
  • I finally received my account information from PDUK. They never responded to my emails., I had been emailing since 27th November. I spoke to them over the phone on this number last week and the 2 people I spoke with were helpful 08002802548. The second person I spoke to though did tell me that they are only just looking at complaints made in October!
  • After reading several cases on the FOS website it is apparent that some PDL think they are above the law and will continue to breach guidelines to make a fast buck. The more customers that complain the better, some smaller PDL have gone into liquidation ( Great ), the most obnoxious are QQ and PDUK who are still breaching guidelines and ignoring customers with complaints.
