how far back can you write to them about? I am talking 2008. It is for QQ. They used to ring me up at work.they scared me so much i paid them off and ended up in an IVA.
Creditors have to keep records for 6 years, some keep them longer than others
Only way to find out is to get your complaint sent in, if you know your account/loan details, or account numbers, that's a bonus.
If neither you nor them, still have account details, then that's the end of it I'm afraid !!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Just have to be patient louised1989, after 8 weeks you may have to escalate to the FOS and wait another 8 to 12 weeks. Just hope you get an acceptable offer as quick as possible, some people have?0

FOS are fast tracking PDL complaints now, most in under two weeks, due to the large number of complaints received.
Also if you have numerous complaints with them, they are been grouped together, and dealt with "as a whole" rather than individually.
The FOS is not infallible, on many occasions they do find in the lenders favour, however they still represent the best/only way, in most cases, of getting any redress if your complaint is initially rejected.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Can someone advise please..
I had loans with Wonga QQ and P2P all in the same period of time. After defaulting on credit cards and over drafts. I have since paid them off, I am still in a DMP for my bank repayments etc.
Am I likely to be successful in claiming back interest etc, even though I have paid them off?
Many thanks in advance0 -
Yes why not debtfree2016x, E-Mail the lenders first with your complaint IE: unaffordable lending, see what happens, you have the option to escalate your complaint to the FOS if your not happy with the lenders response. See DebtCamel website for more info.0

It seems that QQ have still got my records as they have sent them to me. I am shocked at the interest and know realise how they took advantage of me with the interest but how stupid I was to take a loan.
Now find the wording for my letter. I know it is personal but are there any ideas like laws etc I need to quote?Don’t put it down - put it away!
