Cheers Delete33-would be overjoyed with that amount too.
As you said it seemed very much a standard response that I received from them.

Hi imonda, Look at the DebtCamel website as advised by sourcrates, it will help you. You could also check out the FOS website and look at the decisions made last year by the FO against PDL.
  • Markos72, I got the exact same reply (coincidentally from both QuickQuid and Payday UK). I paid QQ just over £900 interest!! I'd be more than made up if they paid it all back to me.

THIS will be the start of a new me!!!
  • Anyone had any luck with pounds to pocket?
  • Hi debtfree2016x, I think poundstopocket were based in Malta so the FOS can not deal with them. See DebtCamel for advice.

Pounds To Pocket are part of Eurocashnet which also owns QuickQuid. Therefore if you had both at the same time you have definitely got a shout. They have offered me a £150 gesture of goodwill but I've referred it to the FOS and expect to be hearing from them soon. I think I will have paid them in excess of £1k in interest.

Latest FOS data shows that 80% of complaints raised against Eurocashnet have been rules in favour of the customer, so I'd say you probably have a pretty good chance.

That explains the exact same reply from those 2.

  • I took out £800 loan with p2p (paid back double that) during that period of paying back p2p I then had 2 with QQ and a few with wonga that lasted nearly a year due to rolling over etc.
Prior to my first pdl with p2p I had lots of defaults and missed payments.
I'm waiting to hear back from the FO
Fingers crossed they will uphold my complaint
  • I received a letter in the post today from Satsuma saying

"We are sorry that we have been unable to resolve your complaint at this time.

We can assure you that investigations are still on going and this matter is receiving our urgent attention

We aim to have completed your investigations within the next 28 days."

It's only been about 3/4 weeks since i originally emailed them my complaint, so this letter is just a waste of time really, but it's nice to be updated. The paper seem thick and expensive too!!

Hi debtfree2016x, Sorry for the wrong info, QQ and Pounds to Pocket are with the same group Casheuronet. There were once upon a time 72 PDL so it is easy to get mixed up with names, It is Pounds Till Payday who are based in Malta along with Swift Sterling.
