Hi I got caught in the payday loan trap around 6 years ago, must have cost me £7,000 in interest with QuickQuid, Payday Uk. Can I make a claim as I had a really low credit score and was costing me half my monthly pay each month to pay it back.... I know I was stupid but damn near killed me paying them back.

Hi Ihmotep, Get E-mailing asap, go to DebtCamel website all e-mail addresses are on there, also read posts from successful claims and lots of valuable information to be found, think you have a good case for compensation by the way.0

Thank you Delete33. I got in such a state with this and will start the process of claim by using the advice you have given.
Thanks0 -
Hi Ihmotep, you are not the only one, as I said go to the DebtCamel site and read, some very positive and uplifting posts to be found.0

After reading all this. I have sent off these emails yesterday as suggested. 9 companies in all.
2 Have come back quickly saying they investigate it.
QQ gave me the generic email pretty quickly. Including that I'd had 9 loans since 2013. My account actually states 29 as at one point in 2014 I rolled over a loan 9 times. Considering it's a payday loan company 29 months of loans within 3 years is hardly a payday loan.
I have calculated I have paid QQ around £4500 in fees.
I have told them the amounts paid, and number of loans I've had. And that they need to treat my complaint better otherwise I'll have to contact the FOS to escalate the matter.0
