    Well done to everyone who has succeeded in recovering some or all of your payday loan interest.

    At the start of this thread I got into some quite protracted arguments with people who though this was not the done thing, and should not be encouraged.

    Well I fundamentally disagreed with that point of view, and still do, your successes have proved me right.

    Many congratulations to everyone whom this thread has helped !!!!

    Been waiting a Year now for PDUK and the FOS to come to a resolution of my claim, my Adjudicator sent a E-Mail just before Christmas explaining that a decision is imminent. Have waited a Year so another Month or so will not deter me.
  • If you took our your mortgage or loan before 2011 and are in arrears, you can claim compensation back through a scheme called Automatic Capitalisation. It's relatively new to the public, but we'd highly recommend having a look to see if it could apply to you. We deal with that sort of thing, give us a call at 01482 425981 and we'll help.

    spammity spam

    Be off with you, you ruffian.
  • So, a recap of sorts

    Wonga = £5000 back
    Quid = £1500 back
    Cash Genie = £700 back (not yet, due to them being in administration)

    Currently awaiting a reply from FOS in regards to Pounds to Pocket and Quick Quid.

    Awaiting to hear back from PDUK themselves.

    Could be looking at reclaiming around £9,000 in total.

    I cannot reiterate enough, how important it is to chase these companies.
  • I have now received an e-mail from Wonga and i'm delighted with the outcome.

    The final amount that they will be transferring me (not sure why but they said this could take another 28 days) is £4,200.26p

    This will clear any outstanding debt I have, thank you to all the contributors to this amazing thread!
  • Hi everyone :)
    I am new to this forum and like you all spiralled into the payday loan trap. I am far from sorted debt wise but came across this forum when looking for advice on how to reclaim costs on mis-sold loans and thought I would give it a go. I am currently in the process of writing down all companies used and then will go from there.
    Its excellent to see so many success stories!
    Has anybody dealt with a company called OnStride? I am aware these aren't exactly a payday loan but charged ridiculous interest rates and was wondering I anybody had dealings with them?
    Any advice would be greatly appreciated
    Thank You
