Finally got details of my loans from Wonga.
Total of 55 of them, loads being topped up. Total of £7,100 in initial loans, £4,405 in top ups, repaying a total of £14,523.80.
Complaint sent in just now, fingers crossed for a result on this...
Did you get any acknowledgement back from them between your complaint and your offer?0 -
Hi all,
Just a wee update.... I've finally started to get some adjudications from the FOS and the two received thus far have both been partially upheld.
The usual that the first couple of loans or so were fine but after that they should have checked.
Obviously these lenders can still come back with further info and ask for an Ombudsman to take the final decision but at the very least hopeful.
Stick in, it's worth trying, nothing to lose etc. etc.0 -
This thread seems to have slowed down a little since posters started getting results! I, however, am STILL awaiting a decision from the ombudsman and have been since 18th October. I was relly hoping it would be all wrapped up in time for xmas (no pun intended), it's been about 8 months ongoing now.
I hope everybody has a lovely xmas and a lively new year!0 -
Hi sacha
I started my complaint against PDUK in Jan 2016, my adjudicator found in my favour. PDUK have never responded at all so it went to an ombudsman in Sept 2016, I am still awaiting a outcome??? Got to be very patient !!!!!!!!!!!:cool:0 -
After spending 8 years struggling with debt, I finally paid off my last debt not long ago and now live debt free. I have never had any dues written off and paid back every singal penny. It took a while though.
My next journey has just begun and that is to buy a home. 1st step is to save, which is going well. 2nd step is to tidy up my credit report.
The worst problem on my credit reports is the huge amount of payday loans. 76 to be exact. And I know a lot of my loans were not even reported.
Whilst searching for info on payday loans and my rights I stumbled across this forum and the likes of debt camel.
From 2010 to 2014 I lived off payday loans as one loan for 300 quicky spiralled out of control and before I knew it I was taking loans out to pay off other loans and couldn't see any way out.
My biggest lenders were payday UK, Wonga and Quickquid. Between 2011 and 2014 I borrowed over £20000 from Wonga and quick quid alone. Once I get the info for 2010 and SOA from payday UK I expect this to hit the £30000 mark. And thats before I add PDL companies that I used less often. They are pounds 2 pocket, Cfo, lending stream, 24/7, pay day express, wageday advance, MyJar and easy finance club.
The amount I paid in intrest and charges is sickening.
My credit records from the time show I had a defaulted on 2 bank loans, an overdraft and a finance agreement and a credit card. My bank statments show I was living at the bottom of my overdraft. And was paying off my defaults and payday loans using payday loans. My wages dissappeared as soon as they were paid into my account.
I am going to use the evedince from 2010 to 2014 to show they irresponsibly provided me with unaffordable loans. I hope to get all info wiped from my credit report. Any refunds will be a welcome contribution to my savings. I doubt they will look at my 2010 loans as they are over 6 years old but most my borrowing was 2011 to 2014.
The affects damage of the stress and upset I went through at this time in my life is something I will never be able to sort and I have to live with that. I have learnt my lesson and use extreme caution now not just for borrowing but for anything money related. These PDL companies are leaches that feed of the desperate.Debt-Free Wannabe

Well that's me done! The adjudicator for the Money Shop loans emailed me earlier and told me Money Shop have offered me £1100. Minus the £394 I owe them it comes to just over £700 back. Really pleased with this. They were my first payday loan back in the day when they were cheque loans and they made my life a misery for years. It was a fantastic Christmas gift! So I am basically free of all toxic debts.
Thanks again to each and every one of you who have helped me in some way, I am very grateful and I wish you all a very Merry Christmas!*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -
I had various loans with Easy Finance Ckub aka toothfairy loans (owned by Web loans processing Ltd). I know this lot were put into administration after the Fca got involved. Is it still possible to lodge a complaint against them and if so how do I got about it? I can't find any contact details.Debt-Free Wannabe

lodge a complaint with the financial ombudsman, i tried to make a complaint against Minicredit but they are no longer trading (so similar to your situation) the FOS will probably inform you who the liquidators are and give you their contact details.0
