Not heard anything from Pounds To Pockets, not getting back to any of my emails, does anyone have an email they have heard something back from?0

HI all,
I have stumbled across this forum and would be very interested to know more.
Stupidly, I took out various pay day loans over the past 5 - 7 years and frequently made late payments, took out new loans each month to repay old loans, etc.
I have nearly paid off all the loans bar 2 (which I am working on), but would be interested in claiming back unfair charges, interest on my previous loans. How do I go about this?
Also I am not 100% sure what I borrowed from which companies and what fees I was charged. Is there anyway of finding this out?
Thanks!0 -
Just rung to see what's happening with my complaint. lady at FOS said my complaint was now waiting to be allocated to an adjudicator. Quick quid gave me a default and then proceeded to lend me money. So interested what they say about that.Don’t put it down - put it away!

Hi Guys,
I happened to come across this thread a few nights ago, whilst in bed thinking of all the financial messes I have gotten myself into. So I read some of your successes with your PDL companies and I fell into the same trap end of 09 until mid 2011. Particularly with QQ I had 8 loans in that period. (Using Peter to Pay Paul) I requested a Statement of Account yesterday and they sent it to me today (Which I was pleasantly surprised at)
The interest I have calculated that I paid during that time to be around the mark of £1133.54 - £1500 along with Late fees pretty often. Do you think it is worth a shot? Or should the amount be higher? And if so did you do this via Resolver? I found relevant letters on Debt Camel.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.0 -

First of all do you have online banking? This can be the quickest way to itemise everything you borrowed from/paid back to each lender. You can also email the lenders for a statement of account showing all of your previous loans and repayments. Some lenders tend to drag their heels a bit with this though which is why I suggested the bank statement route.
If you can work out the difference between what you borrowed and repaid this will give you an idea of what you may be able to get back if a complaint is successful.
Then just email the companies stating that you want to make a complaint about the affordability of the loans and request a refund of all of the interest and charges. It is a long process but could be worth it in the end.
Good luck!0 -

Hi Financereform,
As with my reply to aflannery, if you think this is an accurate figure then just send an email to them requesting a full refund and give a bit of detail about why they were unaffordable for you. I haven't used resolver myself so I can't advise on that but I would say just email them yourself to get the ball rolling.
QQ will no doubt reject your complaint, or make a small goodwill offer, but you can send your complaint to the FOS after 8 weeks.
Good luck!0 -
Heard back from P2P today, and not surprisingly they reject the claim that they have leant to me irresponsibly.
Where can I access my credit report from, as I need to send a copy to the FOS.0 -
Thank you Adamsssss for your response, the account I used to use I have now closed, however calculated the amount from the statements QQ sent over. However they have asked for bank statements am I legally have meant to kept them from 5 years ago? I'll paste what they've said. Okay I am unable to paste it for whatever reason but they basically asked for bank statements or pay slips from the 2 year period.0

No problem. That is their stock response asking you to send that information over. I sent it, they rejected my complaint and FOS found in my favour anyway so I wouldn't worry too much about not having kept them.
So I would just tell them that you no longer have the information - the FOS can request old statements on your behalf if it gets to that stage (as far as I am aware).0
