Yes i think i requested Both Wonga loan statements and MyJar same sort of time...Myjar were a lot quicker with final response than Wonga,so they were first to be reported.
Having 79 loans (admitedly small) im hoping to get a few hunderd back and most importantly off my credit file.
Wonga are dragging things out now against my adjudicator. I've borrowed £10,000 off them in total, the first offer was £226, their second offer after my adjudicator upheld 54 out of 60 loans was £452. I've declined both.0 -

So looks like been a long drawn out affair.
I got an acknowledgement letter back from Northway. I was redirected there by swift sterling. Usual you will here from us in 8 weeks.0 -
Hi all,
I received an email this morning from my adjudicator informing me that she still agrees with her original decision against Wonga, after they provided her with additional information and she still upholds 54 out of 60 loans, she is now passing this to the ombudsman. Is this good news? Also, does anyone know how long the timescale is for the ombudsman to respond with a final decision? Many Thanks.0 -
Its good news welshie as the Ombudsman usually agrees with the adjudicator, probably take another month or so.:cool:0

Have to give Wonga their due, this was their response today only 3 days after my initial complaint.
'Due to the nature of your concerns we are referring the matter to our team of customer support specialists and they will contact you to offer a resolution or an update regarding their progress. '
I guess now the 8 week wait starts. Which is fine if it means i get some 'Wonga' back!!0 -
Lucky you. They took about 4-5 weeks to even acknowledge my complaint and then said it would take up to 8 weeks. I told them they have 8 weeks from the date I made my complaint.
Anyway, today it hit the 6 week mark and I got an email today from them with a Quick Quid style questionnaire asking for bank statements etc. Not sure whether to bother sending them or not as the FOS will get them at the 8 week mark anyway. Maybe Wonga will argue that I wasn't helpful in assisting them with their complaint.
Also had clarification from my QQ adjudicator last week that 4 out of the 5 loans were unaffordable and he has given them until 26th August to agree with him. They had agreed to refund the last two initially. I wouldn't be surprised if this goes to the ombudsman but hopefully not.0 -

I guess now the 8 week wait starts. Which is fine if it means i get some 'Wonga' back!!) and then receiving a lengthy 2 fingers up from them. I have learned through this process that you need to be ruthless and stick to the timing rules or they'll take you for a ride (like they did me!)

Well I sent all the info Wonga requested to hopefully get an acceptable resolution from them directly.
Payday Express complaint was rejected by them so I have sent that to the FOS this morning.
Payday UK are still investigating - 8 week deadline is up in 2 weeks.
Lending Stream and Peachy are both with the same adjudicator. I have sent him the bank statements and credit report so waiting to hear his findings.
Quid Market rejected my complaint but I only had one loan from them so I'm not going to bother following this one up.
Satsuma I have just realised I forgot to escalate this to the FOS so I will do that today. They rejected my complaint too.
Mini Credit and Toothfairy I'm not sure about as I don't think either of them are still trading but will see what I can get from them. *Edit* - I have just spoken to my adjudicator regarding Toothfairy. I sent my complaint directly to them and they have forwarded it on to Toothfairy. The 8 week deadline is up on 23rd September. So for anyone struggling with them I would advise sending the complaint directly to the FOS and they will deal with it for you.
So it's still a long process but I'm starting to get towards the end with a few of them. Keep going everyone!0 -
Just escalated THL Direct to the FOS.
I actually don't even care if I get a penny back I from them I actually hate them, they've fabricated documents and told barefaced lies about amounts I applied for etc. I've only about £400 to get from them but I don't care - unnecessary work and dealings with the FOS will teach them a lesson.
They offered to wipe 50 % off my ot balance £300 and then when I turned that down they offered full balance - turned that down as well.
Waiting for 24/7 moneybox to come back to me they will be going to the FOS as well as soon as they play ball.
Waiting for final offers from Uncle Buck and Myjar - will probably accept these as small ones and the long list of the rest of them are still mostly ignoring me still. lol0 -
Deservedly so lantanna, go get Em!!!!!!!!!!!:cool:0
