Another angry one after that vicious phone call this morning. Who do they think they are talking to!!!!!

Another small success for me today, albeit a small one. £192 back from Cash Genie, interest on that to be applied as well.

Interest and charges back on 2 small loans out of 4.

However they are in the dark ages too as the cheque will take 4 - 6 weeks to arrive!!!

Have really took the bull by the horns here and have contacted the Halifax about my Bank Account fees - they'll be back to me later on whether they think a refund is due. Fingers crossed.

hi - if someone can help

i have complained to all the payday lenders i used some from 2012 and some (unfortunately) quite recent
all my final responses have basically rejected my complaint!!
my complaint was based on my credit score being awful when they lent to me and the loans getting me into trouble some lenders ive used 6-7 times in a row? do u think i have worded my complaint wrongly or do they just send everyone to the FOS?
  • Well........

My adjudicator has e-mailed me today stating that Quickquid have made me an offer for the interest and charges on a loan I had with them on the 1st September 2013 which totals £921!

This is promising as I had 4 other loans for £750, one after the other with quickquid after this loan that they are offering a refund on!

Do you guys think I should dig my heels and suggest I want interest on all loans after this one refunded or take the offer and run?

£921 is a lot of money to me right now but if there is potentially a lot more on offer every penny would help my current situation.

    All the best!

As they have said its final, just escalate them now to the FOS and work on getting your story over to them. I wouldn't waste anymore time with them. Its a real mixed bag ranging from really really rude to actually quite sensible and polite! with varying stages of it in between!!

I have so many of them though 4 settled fairly and well and probably the vast majority now will be going to FOS. 24 7 moneybox, Satsuma, logbook lender and thl direct have really really peed me off!

I hope the owners of these companies are ambushed and can't sleep in their beds at night thinking about all these complaints!

What goes around comes around I believe and it feels great to have the boot on the other foot!

You have nothing to lose by going to the FOS. Don't let them deter you - a lot of them will just flat out refuse everything and as the number of complaints keeps on increasing it will probably become more common.

If you can afford to hang on, hang on. Depends how much you need the money really. But if they are offering a large sum like that you know they've done wrong!

If your on ANDROID id highly recommend Call Recorder...its free to donwnload from playstore and its free to use.

Been using it a year now and caught some very angry/naughty companies out..."I didnt say that..we as a company wouldnt state XYZ."" oh ok would you like to listen to the conversation recorded on my phone...""oh....ummm....well...".

Trust me its brilliant and hard evidence if some one is rude/lies or fails to keep there word.:T

I googled the address for 247Moneybox (active securities) and its just a block of flats in north London. Clearly just a few scumbags operating out of a bedroom. Whenever you phone them there is only a couple of people available. Their 'dedicated email support team' hasn't responded to a single one of my emails. And every time I call to complain about their awful customer service they say they will refer it to an 'Account handler'. Not once have they apologised or even suggested they are likely to do anything about the situation. They are bad people and I hope bad things happen to them.

Get on Trust Pilot and destroy them. Every time they get a bad review they clearly set up a new account and leave a good review (they are always just short messages that say exactly the same thing as a string of previous 'reviewers'). They are faking good reviews to cover up for the fact that everyone who uses them hates them.

Provident are also dreadful to deal with but as a PLC they are slightly more careful about what they say to people.

From my experience Wonga was the best, however despite agreeing to remove the loans from my credit file, they are still there. I will be raising a new complaint.

    .

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

This does not surprise me, they offered to wipe my balance and have ignored me ever since. I email everyday and just say as per previous email just to annoy them lol. They really are the lowest of the low. I can't wait til the time comes to go to the FOS about them.

More success here, not payday loans but with Halifax bank charges for a fee bank account. £1,349.30 on its way into my account today! Only made the complaint 2 days ago!

    Result!
    :rotfl:
Off to email 24/7 moneybox again :rotfl:
  • Hi lantanna,

Would you mind me asking what you asked for from Halifax? Was it all the monthly fees or overdraft charges etc. as well. I'm with Natwest and was thinking about contacting them about my account.

    Thanks.
