Student loans and pensions

That would make sense. I helped my parents with a PPI claim a couple of years back and they got a series of repayments for the same loan that had been rolled over/topped up. They calculated the amount due for each new loan number and paid those individual amounts.0

I have finally received a final response from Wonga (this has taken 8 weeks, plus another 8 weeks!
They are not upholding my complaint, even though they state they look at the frequency of my borrowing (I was paying loans back and taking out new loans within minutes!), they state they check credit reports (I had 3 defaults up until very recently). I'm guessing they have given a standard response to try to get me to give up and disappear.
I have heard from an adjudicator regarding my Quickquid complaint and I have asked her to pick up my Wonga complaint also as this is my main claim.
So, the circus continues............ I'm not feeling confident at all right now though :-(0 -
I am sure the Adjudicator will cheer you up SeenTheLight once they have looked at your case. Keep going and you will be rewarded.:cool:0

Hi all.
I have just had an email back from Ferratum. This is what they stated in their response which is exactly what happened:
"Your first loan for £100.00 was repaid on the due date for £129.20, your second loan was for £200.00 and due for repayment of £273.20 on the 30/06/2014. We received an email In June 2014 advising of your current position and we agreed to set up a payment plan – the final instalment paid on the 4/02/2015 cleared your account and a total of £292.20 was paid. You applied for a further loan in March 2015 however this application was declined as we are a responsible lender."
They then went on to say this:
"I have reviewed your loans and cannot agree that we have lent to you unfairly. Interest is the cost of borrowing money and Ferratum have not acted unfairly in charging this. You had the benefit of the loans.
However, as a gesture of goodwill and in full and final resolution of your complaint we can offer a refund of £121.40 which is the total amount of interest paid on your loans, this would mean you have had two interest free loans."
Can't believe they have offered this considering they are such small amounts but I'm not complaining at all!
Thanks Ferratum.:D0 -
