Welshie28 how long has it taken so far ? Is the adjudicator at the payday loan ? are they assigned to you ? sorry I'm clueless on this lol

Hi, I first emailed Wonga with my complaint on the 21/03. After 8 weeks, they asked for another 6 weeks at which point I referred my complaint to the FOS. It took about 2 weeks to be assigned to an adjudicator and this has been going on since 20/6, after it was assigned to an adjudicator, Wonga emailed me about 2 weeks later offering me £200 which I declined. My adjudicator continued to investigate and sent them her conclusion on Monday upholding my complaint in part and have given them until 15th August to respond. It does take a while especially with so many complaints being processed right now but hopefully it'll be worth it in the end :)

So I have just received another emailing from QuickQuid asking for my details and stating it could take 28 days?! They had already emailed me on Monday asking for my details and emailed back saying I would receive the funds in 24 hours!!!

They are awkward until the very end.

I'm glad that was the first one I set going. It wasn't until the 8 weeks was about up that I sent my complaints to all the others. That was when I realised I probably had a decent case. Wonga, QQ, PDUK and PD Express are my main ones. Have a number of others where I only had between 1 and 4 loans or so so these maybe a bit more difficult but if you don't try you'll never know.

Received my refund at about 3pm today. They sent 5, yes 5 emails all saying the same thing, that they had processed my refund today and it would be in my account within the hour. Why did they email on Monday saying they had sent it then? :rotfl:

    Good luck everyone.
  • So some news today:
My adjudicator has upheld my quickquid complaint and has asked for a full refund of loans plus 8% and for them to remove records from my credit file including the default applied. They have 2 weeks to reply to her. Without the interest the value is just over 10k as these were all £1000 loans rolled over and over. Lets hope they will agree and payout quickly.
I have also enquired about some of the other complaints and this adjudicator has requested to be allocated to my cases which I am very happy about.
My CFO complaint is with another adjudicator who has already written to CFO.
    Will keep you all updated!

Hopefully mine will be paid in soon.
Have emailed them to request when it will be paid but going by past experience I'm not expecting any kind of reply

Hi MARKOS, I have heard that QQ make several payments and not just the one payment. Read before someone received their money back in ten different payments, think it corresponds to the loans taken and refunded:cool::eek:
