Well some good news for me :)

QuickQuid have replied today agreeing with the adjudicator, no ombudsman involved which I am thrilled about.

They had until the 25th July to respond and didn't bother so my adjudicator sent it to the ombudsman, however they responded today agreeing.

Thats me done with this whole thing :)

Received just over £700 from Wonga
Will get just over £1000 from QuickQuid
Mr Lender - Rejected, Adjudicator rejected, sent it to the Ombudsman, waiting now but not expecting anything tbh only had 1 loan (rolled over for 5 months) but thought I have nothing to lose so sent it anyways.

    Thank you everyone on here.

Good luck to you all

UPDATE* QuickQuid has just emailed me and told me they will be issuing payment within 24 hours, apologised and thanked me for my patience??? Hmmm, maybe they are changing their ways?
Nice one Danni. Just out of interest, did they point blank reject your complaint from the start? They rejected mine but offered £150.00 as a gesture of goodwill despite saying they had done nothing wrong. If that is the case, why offer anything at all...!

I wonder how many people don't follow up when they get the standard rejection email.

With regards to everybody's loan history being removed on QQ I thought I'd go on their live chat and ask why. I was told "because my account is currently inactive" and Brittany very kindly offered to me email me my loan history. Might be worth a try for anyone who is having problems getting information from them.

    Hi all,

My adjudicator has upheld my complaint in part stating that loan 1-6 was affordable and loan 7-60 was unaffordable and has now issued her findings to Wonga.

In anyone's experience, is it likely Wonga will reject that decision and then forward it to the Ombudsman?

    Praying for a good outcome!
    Many thanks.

Hi Adams, They offered to wipe my remaining balance of £400 as a gesture of goodwill.

I agree with you, if they didn't do anything wrong they wouldn't offer anything. Really feel for the people who were desperate and accepted their first offer. Luckily I was in a position to wait it out but that isn't the case with everyone. Hopefully they will improve their complaint technique and offer what is owed straight away,

Was first contacted by adjudicator at the end of May,who, after a few weeks upheld my complaint.QQ refused to accept and it went to an ombudsman who upheld the adjudicators findings 2 weeks ago.All in just over 2 months or so.

Feeling pretty annoyed with Wonga, They are arguing that the loans were affordable based on loans to wage difference.

    I was earning £1700 a month doing I.T. feeding & clothing a family of 4, with other outgoings, I was probably always 400 - 500 over what i earned a month.

I was spending over £1000 paying back them and borrowing again to pay my bills.

it's now with the ombudsman, anyone know what sort of timescales I'm looking at with the ombudsman, I'm thinking another 4-6 weeks.

    really irritates me.
