QQ still with ombudsmen, adju' emailed last week this ombudsmen wanted info on a bank account I havent used in years, gave them details.
12 weeks will be up end of august so should have an answer by then0 -
QQ and P2P were both disputed so it's gone off to the ombudsman for a decision as the case worker agreed they shouldn't have issued any loans.
Wonga took ages and offered £11 so this went off to a case worker. A different one to the above two and communication has been virtually non-existent.0 -
Wonga have had their extra 6 weeks, emailed on Friday morning to say a final decision due by end of business Friday, Monday at the latest. That has been and gone, no contact yesterday. MMS are phoning them now with a final chance for final decision but I'm not expecting great things TBH. Will be with the FOS by 12md I expect!0
-
FGS, they've asked for me to wait until 2pm for the final decision and MMS said yes :mad::mad: I have told them that is the final repreive and next time they phone me I want it to be either a final decision/offer or to tell me they have passed it over to FOS. I think I've been more than fair and patient!!0

They're quick enough to take the money back but not so quick when it comes to paying out...
is this not part of the problem ... They were quick when paying (lending)0 -
Well, there you go.....Wonga are numpties!! They have decided not to uphold my complaint on the basis that they do not believe they were unaffordable. Absolutely unbelievable:mad::mad:
They have stated that they cannot see there was a dependancy on the loans....this is despite 79 loans over an 18 month period and borrowing the day after paying a loan back and, sometimes, rolling over.
I didn't think I would feel this annoyed about it, I should have expected it, but I am sooooo angry right now!! Off to the FOS!
ETA: If anyone is interested in the wording at the end of the email I will happily oblige, the rest of it is standard....the end is a lie!0 -

yes I feel your pain ....I am expecting the same by the end of the week after the first initial 8 week period... My loan history wasn't as bad as yours. So judging by it all, they are going to offer me fook all....
sigh...have my fingers crossed for you. Whatever happens lets battle these blood sucking leeches, worse comes to worse they will lose money from the FOS from the case going to them.
looks like im going to have to pay a long time for that ring I wanted...0 -
Sorry, just venting......MMS have put me onto their appeals team who have refused to involve the FOS as they, apparently, have 6 months to appeal this :mad::mad::mad:
I have just fired off this email to the appeals team bloke:
Hi X, please don't think I'm being a pain however I have been doing a lot of research on this and your information is correct in relation to PPI claims but not PDL claims. The company in question have 8 weeks to make a decision and, should the decision not be reached, can be referred to the FOS immediately following the 8 weeks. I didn't have to allow them the extra 6 weeks, I could have insisted that the FOS become involved at that point but I didn't. I am now requesting that you involve the FOS immediately, should you refuse to do so then I can assume we can sever our communications and I will contact the FOS myself, today. As the contract states, no win, no fee and seeing as Wonga have made their final decision I believe I can leave the contract with yourselves.
Please communicate your decision so I can phone the FOS. I have all of the information to hand that they will ask for so it won't take long and will save me 30% of whatever may come my way! I am not willing, nor do I have to, wait 6 months for you to appeal.
Many thanks,
Too much??0 -
Sacha just go on the financialombudsmen website and submit your complaint0
-
Not too much... damn straight if they screw me around... then will go to the ombudsman... they ruined my life, I nearly killed myself over them so I have a vendetta against them. I know its a lot of work but I don't care, all of these companies made too much money off us vulnerable people.0
