Hi fusion- I got some of the statements on the Internet, I printed off a huge amount but then had to send some for a previous complaint against WDA; when it came to this one though my laptop broke before I could print off everything so I had to order them from Barclays. Unfortunately I have to stick to email; I have mental health problems which make speaking on the phone to anyone not family or friends very difficult. That's an excellent point about the time limits, part of me wonders if she's doing it deliberately!
debtfree2016- she wanted a paper copy of the credit report. I don't have access to a PC at the moment so I had to send everything as a paper copy anyway unfortunately.*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -

I am extremely active on Beat the Bailiffs and the Banks, on facebook, where we have about 50,000 members, and a good % of them are in the process of claiming back money from these vultures.
I have sent a few complaints to the FOS, and have dealt with the following companies so far:
PDUK
Quick Quid
Cash Generator
Cash Convertor
The Money Shop
Speedy Cash
Pounds to Pocket
Wonga
My Jar
Provident
And a few others, so hopefully i will be able to provide some helpful advice to anyone that needs it.
I really wanted to pop on and post about this interesting developement that I noticed today.
Quick Quid have made a tiny change to their Final response letter, one that is barely noticable, but could be really serious. In the FOS details that they are obliged to provide, they have added an "¬" symbol. This might sound insignificant, but anyone who copies and pasted the FOS email address provided by quick quid will find that their complaint is ignored, and that they eventually run out of time to take the complaint further.
The email the provide is info @ financial¬ombudsman.org
In my opinion, this has been done deliberately, and is an intentional part of their plan to prevent complaints. I would like to report this to the FCA, but I am curious about how long it has gone on for, so wondered if anyone has had a final response from them, and could have a peep to see what theirs says?
Many thanks
Hi jackster123
I received my Final Response from QuickQuid 2 days ago, I have checked and it does have the wrong symbol on the email address, how very sneaky. They also gave me the pleasure of selling on my email address and I woke to 165 spam emails the next day after declining their final response.
Absolute joke of a company.0 -
C&jp - QQ offered a refund once the adjudicator started looking into it. I accepted and they had 4 weeks to pay, they done it in about 3.0

Thats dreadful. I have already submitted a complaint to the FCA about this. I think its really, really serious. They have to report their complaint stats to the FCA in the next few weeks, so in addition to pointing people in the wrong direction, they are basically manipulating their complaint statistics.
If you have a spare 5 minutes, could you go to the FCA website and fill in the complaint form there? I think the more people that do this, the better the result will be.
Can I ask when you got your final response? I have been sent a couple from the 17th May, and all seems to be fine, but the ones from the 19th onwards all have false information on them. On some, they have missed the hyphen out of the email address, on some they have added a random ".h" on the end of the FOS leaflet link and website. Its so small, you might not even notice it was there.
In my FCA complaint I have attached about 15 final responses, so they know this isnt just a one off mistake. I have also complained to them about Quick Quid selling personal details submitted for the sole purpose of making a complaint- this is a pretty serious breach of DPA. Anyone complaining about Payday loans has clearly been in some financial difficulty. To reject their complaint, and then bombard them with offers of short term, high interest credit is sick. I am really angry about it.
I have complained about these companies to the FCA quite a few times- usually its pretty simple. You sumbit your complaint- there is an option to leave a phone number if you want to. They usually call you the next day, or email if you dont leave a number. You wont get feed back about your individual complaint, but each company has a team of people at the FCA who over see them.
What will probably happen is this. The FCA will go in and investigate if they think we are telling the truth. It will be very straight forward- Quick Quid will show the final responses they have sent recently, I bet every single one of them has got the wrong FOS info on. Im not sure how to go about proving it is them selling peoples details, but there have been a lot of complaints about spam on many different sites, so I am 100% certain it is them.
When you complain to the FCA, send them a copy of your final response as evidence. You never know, this might result in a faster FOS resolution, as your complaint will be under the spotlight!0 -

Total interest I pad was nearer 4K, but I'm on the understanding there is a 6 year issue ?
So although at the moment I'm free of debt, this 1406 will go straight into the holiday fund !!!
A worthwhile journey with a nice treat at the end
Is this from QQ or the FOS? I have persuaded adjudicators many times now, that no one could be reasonably aware that they could complain until the great Wonga Drama of 2014, so another year to go!
The ombudsman rule is 6 years OR 3 years from the date you knew you could complain. I would consider carrying on with this- its quite a big difference. When are your loans from?0 -
Hi I'm in the process of complaining at moment to payday lenders but just thought has anyone complained to Avant credit?
Also what about the guarantor lenders?0 -
The adjudicator gave Casheuronet until last Tuesday to respond to his recommendations, I've not heard anything. Would it be best to phone the adjudicator on Monday or shall I just wait and see?0

I would be inclined to give them a call. The chances are, they havent responded at all to the adjudicators decision, so it will now be passed to an ombudsman. In about 95% of the cases i have seen the ombudsman agrees with the adjudicator, but you will probably be waiting a few more weeks for this decision.
You never know though, you might be lucky and they might have responded, but no one has remembered to tell you!0 -

This is from the adductor at FOS......I had 44 loans which were I think 8 loans with multiple rollovers.... Some over the 6 year mark.
To be honest, 4 months ago I had no idea I would get anything back so this 1406 is welcome...I am more or less debt free.....so this will be a nice brucie bonus0 -
