That's good news for you! Brilliant.

I'm hoping it won't need to go the the Ombudsman and that QQ will just accept the adjudicators recommendations but I've heard that QQ are being difficult with other people.

    Hi everyone!
I sent a complaint about irresponsible lending to QQ in January. They declined my complaint but offered me £350 goodwill gesture, so I escalated the complaint to the FOS.
My adjudicator took about 5 weeks to come to conclusion (today) that all but 2 loans were unaffordable and recommended they pay back all interest, fees and 8% simple interest, plus remove from credit file.
They have given them (and me) a week to respond to this.
However, I've read that QQ are escalating a lot of upheld complaints passed the adjudicator to the Ombudsmen for their consideration. Has anyone had this?
I think, although I'd prefer all loans to be repaid, I think her findings are fair.
Has anyone else had any experience of this? I don't even know how much I'll receive if QQ decide to accept the decision.

how many loans for how much.

i take it £350 is way off the mark.

It works out approximately £3200 in interest and fees that I'd be claiming back.
But a couple of the loans were deemed affordable by the adjudicator so I think the amount that the adjudicator had upheld is about £2800 plus 8% simple interest (whatever that means).
Approx 30 loans (including roll-overs over 4 years)
so yes, the £350 offer was just over 10%!

Hi c&jp adjudactor upheld my complaint two weeks ago last Tuesday re QQ. They had until the 31st May to provide any 'additional information' just waiting to hear from the adjudicator now

It really seems like the FOS are losing patience with us :(
I got an email from the adjudicator on the MyJar case. It seemed from the beginning that she wasn't really interested and I got an email yesterday reinforcing that. At considerable time and expense to myself I sent her the years bank statements she wanted plus my 32 page credit report she had been continually demanding.
She emailed me yesterday, at 4pm, demanding statements for my other bank account by Tuesday and going on to mention the costs 'I claim I have incurred' Cheeky moo! I did incur them! The whole tone of her email was quite snippy so I emailed back and politely said enough is enough. I don't have access to the other account, it is with a DCA and there's no way I can get any sort of statements let alone in the space of a day at the latest. I've said I can send her a copy of my current bank statement with the payment to Experian and the payment Barclays took from my account for the statements to prove my cost but I can do nothing more. I've politely told her if this is a problem I don't wish to continue with the complaint as I've literally pulled all the stops out to give her what she wanted but it's still not good enough. Can I complain to anyone about her? She's an utter nightmare!

debtfree2016x That's good then, looks like they won't be taking to the ombudsmen then as they've had their time allowance. I just wish we knew what was happening half the time!

I can't see QQ taking my complaint further because my adjudicator was really thorough; asking for bank statements of both of my accounts, payslips, credit file and checking status of my mortgage.
So I think they would be silly to try and argue against the decision?

Hopefully you'll have your money soon. Apparently QQ tend to just put it into your bank account without contacting you first!

I wouldn't put anything past QQ I fully expect mine will go to the ombudsmen.

    Hi Mrs_Ryan

    Do not withdraw your complaint.

If you cant provide the statements thats not your fault.

If she does not uphold your complaint you can then pass it onto the Ombudsman.

It just seems like you have got an awkward adjudicator. I definitely would not give up though, theres cases on debtcamel where it has gone to the Ombudsman and they have disagreed with the adjudicator and upheld the complaint so dont give up. You could also message Sara on the debtcamel site and ask for some advice, shes great and really knows her stuff.

I'm getting a refund of 1406 from QQ

Total interest I pad was nearer 4K, but I'm on the understanding there is a 6 year issue ?

So although at the moment I'm free of debt, this 1406 will go straight into the holiday fund !!!

A worthwhile journey with a nice treat at the end
