I lodged new complaints against all of the lenders today about the spam I have been receiving since redresses have been settled.
I've also lodged new complaints against all account which are still appearing on my credit file despite agreeing to remove them over 3 months ago. This thing will probably just keep going on and on and on. But so far it has been well worth it.
As of payday last week, I am officially debt free for the first time in nearly 15 years. It could not have happened without going through this process (and more importantly quitting gambling).0 -

Received Wongas response yesterday rejecting my complaint but offering me £25 goodwill gesture for the length of time it took for them to look into the complaint.
Replied telling them what I thought and also that their offer was laughable. F.O here I come.
Also regarding junk emails I logged in this morning to find 170 junk emails so obviously someone is playing funny bu**ers.0 -

OK so wonga, have asked for 6 more weeks after I phoned them yesterday as they had stopped replying to my emails for updates.
this was after they promised to email me yesterday confirming the status which they did not do. I emailed them this morning saying I was disappointed at this oversight.
I am in 2 minds to let them have it, I may just raise to FOS as 6 weeks is almost as long as the original 8 weeks they have failed to reply in.
they kept saying on the phone they had sent an email out on may the 10th asking for more 4 weeks to which they did not send.
now it's turned to 6 weeks..

Send it to the FOS fusion. The FOS is taking about 8 weeks to form their own opinions so you might as well get a head start. Plus by doing that Wonga get a £550 charge, and from what I can see people are having a lot of success against Wonga via the FOS.
Also use the following link and raise the complaint with the FCA http://www.fca.org.uk/consumers/consumer-helpline
They do not answer individual complaints however they will use information to assess whether specific companies need to be put under further scrutiny, and can in theory suspend their ability to trade.
I logged my highly negative feedback of Satsuma's complaints team with the FCA today and was told they could not provide any updates of what action they take, but I could be assured that the team overseeing this business would be informed. If we get enough people logging this sort of feedback we can cause these @rseholes real disruption.0 -
Hi guys,
Some good news for you.
Wonga have come back to me with a settlement offer for all bar one loan.
4186.63 - Accepted that, and all footprint removed from credit history.
Quickquid - 450 settlement to be paid back, and removal of 699 I currently owe them. Accepted.
WagedayUK - rejected my claim. FOS
PDUK - still waiting to hear back.0 -

Hi everyone!
I sent a complaint about irresponsible lending to QQ in January. They declined my complaint but offered me £350 goodwill gesture, so I escalated the complaint to the FOS.
My adjudicator took about 5 weeks to come to conclusion (today) that all but 2 loans were unaffordable and recommended they pay back all interest, fees and 8% simple interest, plus remove from credit file.
They have given them (and me) a week to respond to this.
However, I've read that QQ are escalating a lot of upheld complaints passed the adjudicator to the Ombudsmen for their consideration. Has anyone had this?
I think, although I'd prefer all loans to be repaid, I think her findings are fair.
Has anyone else had any experience of this? I don't even know how much I'll receive if QQ decide to accept the decision.0 -

This was the situation between myself and Mr Lender.
The ombudsman ruling was actually pretty quick, only took two weeks.
Heard today I'm getting approx £700 refunded which represents all interest and charges on two loans, plus simple interest @ 8%.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
