Yes indeed, my two historical complaints (2011 & 2012) have now both gone to an ombudsman decision, so its still a waiting game.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. I saw your post yesterday and I checked this as I'm in the same boat. It's 3 years from the time that you notice the problem, so you should still be able to claim is you have all of the details. http://www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/faq/businesses/answers/before_we_get_involved_a7.html "six years from the event the consumer is complaining about (or - if later - three years from when the consumer knew, or could reasonably have known, they had cause to complain)."
I've emailed the Money shop as it's pretty difficult to check bank statements for specific cheque payments. I hope this helps.0 -
I looked into when the PDL companies will get charged.
The case fee for the 26th (and any
subsequent) “chargeable” case is £550.
It becomes chargeable when our consumer
helpline passes a complaint on to one of our
adjudicators for further investigation.
However, the fee isn’t actually payable until
the complaint is resolved. Our finance team
sends out an invoice to the business
involved at the end of the month in which we
close our case.
We review our case fee arrangements each
year – and consult our customers about any
changes we think might be necessary.0 -
Good info DebtFree, QQ and PDUK will be getting some massive charges from the FOS.0

That 2 out of the 3 loans from each company (mr lender/paydayuk) were unaffordable, they said only one was, I said all 3 were, awaiting the decision now.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
