simply put a lap dog. do not withdraw your complaint keep going it can go to the Financial ombudsman if you disagree you have done everything in your power to provide the details?
Yes- I used all my printer ink on the 32 page credit report (I had screenshots of the 14 defaults I had at time of lending which I offered and she just kept demanding the full report so I paid £15 to access Credit Expert and printed the whole thing, along with statements from 2011 and 2013 (I had already paid for Barclays to send me 2012's) I was up until 3am one morning doing this, I had already told her I was in the middle of my uni exams and had very little time- the deadlines she gave me were ridiculous but I managed it- My laptop is broken at the moment so even if I did have statements for my other account I would have had to post them today, but I have no access to the account at all, the DCA have said they can't get the complete statements she's demanding but even if they could there's not a hope they could have done it in a day. I know she's not going to uphold the complaint so I'm going to tell her to rule on what she has and then take it the Ombudsman with a complaint about her.
Really am getting very disillusioned nowseeing these big refunds everyone's getting and I'm getting knocked back. The WDA one really upset me, although the adjudicator was nice enough she just wanted to wash her hands of it. Just put the complaint in about Money Shop but not holding my breath frankly.

for your info though you can get your statements free from barclays by going into your online banking and looking at them.
I managed to pull all the way back to 2008 on there
but back to your point you are not applied time constraints when dealing with the FOS it does not state you have a limited amount of time to provide information.
i'd state if a business has 8 weeks to acknowledge and resolve complaints then the same amount of time applies for you also.0 -
Mrs Ryan is the adjudicator asking for paper copies, anything I've sent has been attachments via emails0

I've heard back from ombudsman today that they are agreeing with the adjudicators decision and that 247moneybox are to refund me interest and charges on 16 loans.0

Wow. So many of these are going all the way to the ombudsman. I'd really hoped that QQ would just accept the adjudicators decision, but from what everyone is saying it's not looking likely. They have a week to accept/decline the adjudicators recommendations.... we'll see what happens!0

This has been the only complaint that's gone all the way to the ombudsman. QQ and PDUK were settled with the adjudicator. 247 was the first complaint I started in November and this is now my last to be resolved. Long wait but it's been worth it.0

that's good to hear. I'd heard QQ were being difficult. Let's hope they are not with me!
I've not been told what the next step is now though - if QQ accept the adjudicators decision will the offer come through them or directly through QQ? How long did it take?
Thanks!0 -
Hello! My first post here, because I forgot my log in details and couldnt be bothered to reset them!
I am extremely active on Beat the Bailiffs and the Banks, on facebook, where we have about 50,000 members, and a good % of them are in the process of claiming back money from these vultures.
I have sent a few complaints to the FOS, and have dealt with the following companies so far:
PDUK
Quick Quid
Cash Generator
Cash Convertor
The Money Shop
Speedy Cash
Pounds to Pocket
Wonga
My Jar
Provident
And a few others, so hopefully i will be able to provide some helpful advice to anyone that needs it.
I really wanted to pop on and post about this interesting developement that I noticed today.
Quick Quid have made a tiny change to their Final response letter, one that is barely noticable, but could be really serious. In the FOS details that they are obliged to provide, they have added an "¬" symbol. This might sound insignificant, but anyone who copies and pasted the FOS email address provided by quick quid will find that their complaint is ignored, and that they eventually run out of time to take the complaint further.
The email the provide is info @ financial¬ombudsman.org
In my opinion, this has been done deliberately, and is an intentional part of their plan to prevent complaints. I would like to report this to the FCA, but I am curious about how long it has gone on for, so wondered if anyone has had a final response from them, and could have a peep to see what theirs says?
Many thanks0
