Thank you so much for doing that- it will really help to have the complaint taken seriously. It might seem petty and insignificant, but it has been done intentionally. I think quite a few seperate complaints have been submitted from our little group over the weekend, so hopefully they will see that its not just a one off mistake. I have a lady at the FCA that I usually deal with, and I have sent her quite a few screen shots.

The fact that it changes makes it quite clear that its been done on purpose- i have a few examples like the one you have posted, some with the hyphen missing, some with the h on the end, they are mixing it up, so its not a rogue template. I really feel that the DPA breach is the most serious part though.

If you didnt have the support of people here, or which ever online community you are a part of, you would be terrified of the FOS, and nervous about taking your complaint further. I would say about 50% of people would probably just accept the rejection, but in their head they had already won the case and spent the money. To suddenly be bombarded with offers of more credit would be incredibly enticing for someone in that position- especially if they had promised the kids a holiday or day out with the money they got back. This is very very bad practice, and i think they need to be stopped, and made accountable for this behaviour. Once again, they are preying on people when they are most vulnerable. It just goes to show the utter contempt they have for their customers.

Hi jackster123, I hate going on and on about QQ but I believe that their licence to trade should be at the least suspended until they get their act together. We will have to see what happens in the coming months, if they just acknowledged customers and the FOS adjudicators they would not be getting the bad press on forums such as MSE and DebtCamel.:(

The day after I made the complaint about QuickQuid I had dozens of spam emails from loan companies, etc sent to me. I had never experienced receiving such an amount in one day so I assume it has something to do with them.
  • Just spoke to the adjudicator assigned to my case. QQ haven't agreed so he is going to send it to Ombudsmen.
Anyone know how long I'll be waiting for a decsion?

Hi Debtfree, I thought QQ would do this. Ombudsman usually agrees with the Adjudicator, possibly another 4 weeks maybe less.

they have 12 weeks to review and make contact with you.

the investigation is not time restrictive to my knowledge.
