They have 8 weeks to respond, if they do not escalate to the FOS, you can keep e-mailing them as much as you like, no limits on this. If you owed them money they would contact you everyday no doubt. Read up on here and Debt Camel website and be patient and expect this to go on for at least 6 months, you may get a redress sooner than 6 months.;):cool:0

Thanks Delete 33
I haven't actually made a complaint as yet, my emails stated I was going to and simply asked for the statements. Should I go straight for a complaint then although I'm not entirely sure how many loans I had with them (20+) ?
Cheers0 -
I would DanDaniel, as these Predators are snowed under at the moment, get your credit report and Bank Statements ready for if you do go to the FOS, these will certainly speed up the process if you get to the FOS stage. Its a frustrating waiting game but do not give up.:cool:0

Nice work, it feels good to get some redress for the stress we all have had to suffer, pdl's affected my relationships with family etc as was in a big debt problem they helped and i paid the pdls and family everything back but the pdl's even after i told them i was struggling kept lending to me, as well as store cards etc.. I've put alot of effort in putting things right and I'll keep fighting these guys. I've now got no defaults on my credit file. last payment problem was nearly a year ago on my report. still have a crap report but hey thats life but things are improving and all the old rubbish i once had will be gone including the pdl's wonga's 25 loans on my record is a massive blemmish. peachy was second but they have all been removed.0 -
Afternoon everybody. I have been reading this thread from end to end over the last few days and last week decided to try it for myself.
I managed to get myself in a huge financial mess from 2008. I continually borrowed from payday lenders right up until the end of 2013...where I was in such a mess and entered a DMP (This was paid off within a year)
I previously had loans with Quickquid, Payday UK, Payday Express, Lending Stream, Wage Day Advance and CFO Lending.
Last week I contacted all of the companies via the Resolver tool, now currently waiting to see what will happen.
Although some of my borrowing stemmed from 2008 I have only looked at the figures for the last 6 years. They have shocked me and i do not know how I sustained the payments for so long.
Below is the amount borrowed followed by the total amount paid to each lender over the last 6 years.
QuickQuid £5150 borrowed, £13927 paid back
Payday UK £1980 borrowed, £10226.53 paid back
Payday Express £1395 borrowed, £6608 paid back
Lending Stream £4035 borrowed, £10745.84 paid back
Wage Day Advance £850 borrowed £1164.43 paid back
CFO Lending 735 borrowed ?£2525.49 paid back
When looking at my old quickquid account, I can see that I had 66 loans with them from 2008 and 2013. Every single month I either rolled over the loan or re-loaned the very same day.
I truly believe this is a fine example of Irresponsible lending, these companies should have realised something was wrong a long time ago.
Pleased to say I have no outstanding balances on the above accounts and debt wise now Ionly have an overdraft and 2 credit cards.
Lets hope for a bit of success!!!0 -
WOW Fresh start, I can not see how you have not got a claim for redress. Your case looks extreme, all you can do is follow the process and be patient like us all. from 2010 onwards I think you will receive some form of redress. Be very interesting to see how your complaints pan out, keep us informed Fresh Start.:cool:0
