Here we go.. heading into another working week... good luck everybody  lets hope we all get an offer!!!!
Good luck. Im hoping we here something. I've been in touch twice now just to check if our documents are okay as this appears to be the biggest holdup from what im reading on here if they request more. They have reviewed our valuation report yet. Im hoping its just a case of accepting that and we may get an offer but i think im being very optimistic.
When was your valuation completed? I know they have looked at ours which was completed 09/09 as it came back undervalued. You’re two days ahead of me application wise so if the valuation timescales similar fingers crossed you’ll have it altogether with an offer

  • Good luck for this week, people! :)
May I ask, how do people track their applications after their applications have been approved. When I spoke to Nationwide last they said I can't track the application online any longer as it had been approved and they are just waiting on a valuation. The valuation took place on Friday and I'm hoping for an offer possibly this week before the new pay month.

Our valuation was completed a day before yours on the 8/9. Im hoping so, ive been on the chat twice of the last few weeks just asking about documentation. They appear to be fine from what I've been told. Just being stuck in the waiting game. I keep worrying the longer it goes on the may ask for more up to date items. Hopefully we both have an offer by the end of next week with a bit of luck!

You should receive a text from Nationwide explaining they have recieved the valuation report. Their timescales state it can take 10 working days to review that report. They've had my valuation report for 13 days now and im yet to have anything back to say that it is fine. Hopefully yours wont take as long.

I could only track my application myself through the chat box function on Nationwide's website as I don't have a login to retrieve my application online as my broker did it via the broker/intermediary service. I only contacted for the first time on Friday as it was 18 working days in and the latest timelines are telling people not to ask for the first 19 working days as they're so busy. You should still get text messages from nationwide saying they've received your application, valuation has been booked etc. It's going to take a long time though!
First time buyer (FTB) - 90% Loan to value (LTV)
    Nationwide Application
01/09 - confirmation of application being received
11/09 - Alert from Clear Score of hard check being carried out
25/09 - Spoke with Nationwide via 'web chat' box on their website and they confirmed our documents hadn't been reviewed yet
27/10 - request for payslips (even though they were provided to our broker at the beginning of the application)
31/10 - Mortgage appointment with Barclays to explore Springboard mortgage options
  • Thanks ,do you mean the chat with us one where u chat with someone?
  • Does anyone know what QC is? BDM advised my broker today that my last document has been signed off today and that the app is now with the underwriter for QC and should be actioned shortly.
