Thanks for that, I just downloaded clear score, its showing 2 soft searches on the 18th which is the day before I got the AIP,  but no hard searches yet. My friend got a mortgage with NW about 9 months ago and had her formal offer 2 working days after they received the valuation report, so I was expecting to follow the same timeline now 😭
    Debt was £15,903 😬 Now £2718.14 £0 😲🥳

This was updated on the nationwide website last week. Showing estimated wait times for all parts of the application. We are on working day 13 tomorrow from application which was on 12th May. Hoping to hear soon x

Hi, first time poster and long time stalker of this thread!  We are also on tenderhooks and I'm completely stressed out of my head with these timescales.  I keep thinking that we are going to get knocked back because its taking so long!  We aren't even buying a new house, its a remortgage.  My timelines are below:

    DIP     6 May
    full application 9 May
    Survey 17 May
Request additional payslip (that they already had) 18 May
    Radio silence since then
    Hard credit search 9 May
Second hard credit search 27 May (with 9 May one removed from Clearscore)

We are now at working day 16 in the process and its been 8 days since the last piece of paper went in.  Demented!

Monday?  Really?  I feel so sorry for the people on this thread that are actually buying a new home - I would be a complete basket case by now.  Are these timescales normal or do you think they are unusually busy?

We’re purchasing our first home and can’t believe the wait! It’s making me go crazy 🤣
My mortgage broker emailed this morning explaining there is staff shortages due to people being on holiday for the jubilee. Monday seems so far away!

I think it seems the be the general state for most brokers  at the moment. I guess the recent Interest rates increase has prompted a lot of new applications.

Yes, our payslip was requested on the 18th so 11 working days from that. Asking for more documents basically takes us back! We know our valuation has been accepted. I agree I can’t imagine the stress if we were moving!
