I rang Nationwide myself today, because I thought our broker was on holiday. Nationwide has now had 2nd thoughts about my income(?!), so they've taken £14k off what they're prepared to loan us. Thankfully, I think we have enough to make up this shortfall, and in the long term it just brings our LTV down so it's not *necessarily* a bad thing. However, it means they need to process yet another document (as we'll be using a small gifted deposit from a 2nd relative). So I think our wait will go well into June! Hope you both get some luck next week @hanmoe and @Shellbell1360

@Essexianinkent thats a nightmare. @Shellbell136 get the wine out!!!!!1

@shellbell136 Quite. Absolutely no idea on both counts! Apparently they emailed our broker but they hadn't received anything. Something to do with my 2022 income (SE). Oh well, the money I save to go on furniture is now all going on the deposit!

I’m also waiting and beginning to think they’re asking for documents so that they can pause the case, add extra days on and keep up with their SLAs! They asked for proof of deposit a few days ago which we had already given to our broker when we applied 😭0

I’ve just had a notification from ClearScore that NW did a hard search on me on the 31st 😬 so my timeline so far is
19/05 - broker submitted my full application
25/05 - surveyor came to my house
26/05 - NW text to say they had the valuation report
31/05 - hard search
I really hope this goes through, I need to buy my abusive ex out of my house so he leaves 😢🤞🏻Debt was £15,903 😬 Now £2718.14 £0 😲🥳0 -
