9/05 - Text confirming valuation has been booked
    11/05 - Valuation received

    Since then, radio silence.
    Using a MB for this.

Context: FTB, deposit of £15,705, property £157,050, used a mortgage broker the whole way

    7/04 DIP from Nationwide
    12/04 offer accepted
    20/04 Application sent to Nationwide
    20/04 Text confirming application received
27/04 NW requested additional pages of our proof of deposit

Not heard anything else yet but assuming because of the bank holidays it’s going to take a while!
    Update:

04/05 Received this text: Hi, Nationwide here. We've received the valuation report for your mortgage application. We'll review this and be in touch if we need any more information.

Fingers crossed we’ll get a decision next week!
Asked for more proof of deposit from a different time scale on 06/05. Had to order a paper copy so going to be at least a week before we can even send them it! Hopefully will only be a week after that and we’ll get an offer (fingers crossed)
Halifax sent us the wrong statement so had to go into branch to get one on the 14/05.

Mortgage offer received on the 19/05! 😁 took longer than expected but we got there in the end!

    Hi,
I am day 14 for a remortgage with Nationwide via a broker
Hardsearches carried out on the weekend, valuation approved last Wednesday, however I noticed this morning that redemption certificate was requested again yesterday? Last week it was showing as Thursday, why would this be? I was hoping we would hear today or tomorrow?

  • Hello all, EXTREMELY nervous FTB here.
Have applied for the Helping Hands mortgage at 90% LTV.

23/05 had offer accepted and applied for DIP
23/05 offer referred due to missed shopping acc payments by my partner over a year ago
25/05 referral went through, requested a months payslip each, proof of deposit and one month bank statement for ME only
09/05 full application in with MA
    12/05 valuation survey appt
16/05 email from MA stating application is with underwriting and valuation report has been received
21/05 hard searches appeared on transunion and equifax
24/05 call from MA saying he had chased and Nationwide had a backlog. Should hear by this Friday either way...

Been scanning these forums all night for the past fortnight and am absolutely exhausted. Keep looking for reasons why they would not accept at this stage. My partners credit is good/fair but they saw this at referral stage. Mine is squeaky clean. Have no debts, or outgoings other than bills and are both in full time long term employment. Saw a reply stating denial due to overdraft? We use our arranged overdrafts as and when but MA said this is no issue.

Any advice, a friendly word is more than appreciated.

I had my valuation on Monday and didn’t have a text to confirm they had received the valuation. It turns out they need some more info before they can confirm the valuation. This came from my broker yesterday afternoon so maybe that could be a possibility?
Mine was a 'down valuation'.  Found out via broker this p.m.  Not sure if that explains radio (text) silence from Nationwide.  Apparently all else good to go and we are ploughing on anyway and making up the difference.

Got to say I was a little surprised at the valuation with a number of recent comparables in the same ballpark, some needing lots of work.  Felt a little finger in the air tbh.

Hi all, think this may be my second ever post but I got tired of lurking. Applied through a broker and my timelines are:

    Mortgage applied 13th May
    Valuation carried out 17th May

My broker said Nationwide's timelines have increased but hopefully the wait won't be for much longer.

Definitely seems to be a bit of a wait at the moment! Good luck to everyone waiting.
