I also had hard searches with Credit Karma and ClearScore!
I sent my mortgage consultant at Nationwide additional documents as requested but got no response so chased on Friday and got an out of office so forwarded over to the emails advised on his OOO. They replied on Saturday saying I had no outstanding documents required. Just had an email from the mortgage consultant apologising for not replying last week, and confirming he had attached the documents requested to my application. He said it looks like I should be re-assessed today and that he'll give me an update before he leaves the office at the end of the day. I felt quite cheeky chasing (being an office worker myself I get quite annoyed if someone chases me within 24 hours, lol!) I appreciate his update but now going to be on edge all day!

Has anyone had further documents required? If so, what was requested (if you don’t mind saying) & at what stage? Our application went in 19th August, got the valuation booked for this Friday. We provided proof of deposit & latest payslip as requested when the application went in, just wondering if you think we can expect to hear about the mortgage after the valuation or if they will do the valuation then expect them to ask for more docs? Thanks so much! Hate waiting0

Average number of working days for initial assessment 7 days* Valuation assessment (if required) once received by Nationwide 6 days*
So, if you have sent your application and documents on the 19th, I guess, it has been through the initial assessment, and I guess if more documents would be required on your details, they would request them by now.
We heard back about our mortgage offer on the sixth working day after the valuation day, again, in line with the SLAs posted. Good luck with the valuation and hope you will get the mortgage offer soon!1 -
We are now 14 weeks into our supposedly straightforward application, and since our DIP has now expired everything needs to go through an 'attachment team' to manually attach everything to our application which further slows things down...
Currently on a 100% retention pending updated valuers report, we will have to pull out if they insist on a massive retention, what a waste of time and money if that happens 😞 The frustrating thing is both our surveyor & structural engineer both said the house is sound with no major issues (quoted 2.5k to fix the damp, no structural issues found) so the valuer is being way over cautious and could cost us the house.
We're so desperate to have this done now!
Our full timeline so far:27 May: application submitted to Nationwide via broker28 May: proof of ID requested due to name error29 May: additional payslips and evidence of deposit requested, sent same day4 June: email/text to say valuation booked for 11th June17 June: valuation comes back at £0 due to damp, damp survey requested24 June: damp survey completed and sent to Nationwide12 July: full building survey requested by Nationwide (delay due to broker leaving company)13 July: survey sent to Nationwide (luckily we'd already had one done)16 July: proof of deposit shortfall requested (?there is none)20 July: survey rejected by Nationwide as it doesn't have both our names on it or surveyor's qualifications23 July: amended survey and proof of deposit sent to Nationwide28 July: Nationwide sent reports to valuer for checking4 Aug: structural engineer report requested13 Aug: structural engineer report sent20 Aug: structural engineer report forwarded to valuer27 Aug: Nationwide send further questions to valuer0 -

Just had a call from the Estate Agent to let me know the seller's mortgage has now been approved and they have a target date in mind... He was very nice and by no means pushy but... I thought I was on the edge earlier, it's even worse now!0
