Congratulations @KTD10 it does appear they are chipping away at it. I guess we've all got a bit frustrated with the delay and it is just making us all anxious . After getting my letter today I'm a bit more optimistic of things getting done. Definitely some lessons to be learned for Nationwide though0

Congrats @KTD10! I know it's case by case but I find everyone's timings are so different! We had our valuation last Friday and have heard nothing since - I thought as we are purchasing a new build it would be really straightforward. Our hard searches were done last Wednesday and no additional documentation or information has been requested so I'm just confused what could be taking so long now! Makes me worried there is something wrong as we've not had the offer but it's all a waiting game!0

Congrats @KTD10 really pleased to hear its turned around so quickly for you, I do get the impression they want to get these sorted asap too.
As @mrebeccam93 notes the timelines are so strange and there seems to be no set pattern, so whilst I have found other peoples timelines really helpful to see, it can also send you into a spiral thinking there is something wrong with your application when there probably isn't at all!
No major update here, desktop valuation apparently carried out at 8am today but no further updates via text or on the online file. I did receive a call from a lovely woman from NW who was just checking my understanding of the product I'd chosen etc etc, how was the online application etc etc, but don't think it had any affect on my case, more NW checking the online process was fair and those not applying through a broker knew what they were doing.
She did have a quick look and confirmed again that everything was done, was just waiting on the valuation. Apparently the surveyors can take several days to upload to the portal and then sometimes goes to be looked at further so goodness knows - everyone's seems so different its hard to work out when it might all be done. I'm guessing mine should be sorted by end of next week (hopeful for this week but I daren't get my hopes up) and then can get cracking with the searches, so ready to move on (and out!)0 -
Quick update, things are finally moving and had a text saying survey and homebuyers report booked for tomorrow 🤞🤞0

That's good news! Fingers crossed for you!
I got my text about 10 mins ago to say that the valuation report had been received and approved, then 2 mins later had our offer come through! So exciting and a weight off of worrying about it! I'm assuming they'll send the actual offer in the post as there are no details in the text at all so fingers crossed the offer is what we asked for!
This is the timeline for us (as mentioned above, it's nice to know but I think NW are a bit all over the place with applications so seems like all are completely different at the moment!)22/04/2021 - received DIP
28/04/2021 - viewed house
30/04/2021 - offer accepted
03/05/2021 - officially ‘reserved’ plot
08/05/2021 - mortgage application
08/05/2021 - rejected gift letter
12/05/2021 - resent gift letter
13/05/2021 - valuation booked for 21/05
19/05/2021 - hard searches completed
21/05/2021 - valuation took place
26/05/2021 - valuation approved & mortgage offer received

Congratulations to all those who have had their offers
@mrebeccam93 you’ll get your offer letter a few days later. If you have a nationwide online account you can view your paperwork on there. It’s under my offers and applications.Fingers crossed for all those still waiting0 -
Well this is annoying...
Just received a text that my valuation is booked for the 29/05. So either they didn't bother doing it yesterday (wouldn't surprise me at this point) or they have realised they will have to do a physical valuation as there's no comparable properties (could have told them that on 8th).0
