Called them to check in given time of day... we were misinformed yesterday... valuation won’t be booked until the 30th October... if the sellers don’t decide to give up on us and put it back on the market by thenhburnett163 said:Have been calling nationwide everyday (saved to my contacts now, can’t believe they’ve not blocked my number

was told yesterday we should hear about a valuation being booked today - today is working day 36 so fingers crossed!!And at least it’s next week so not too long to wait. Wishing you all the luck that it goes well and you get your offer soon!0 -
I do wonder if it’s a matter of time before they do to be honest. The demand seems to be overwhelming.Harria01 said:
nightmare at mo, if nationwide cant handle the demand they really need to put a stop on new applications until they can offer decent service levelshburnett163 said:

Thanks but the estate agents are extremely impatient and already made me cry yesterday by implying the sellers are nervous and might look for other buyers.. I think it’s unlikely and is a technique to get the sale throughGN2020 said:

First time buyer (FTB) - 90% Loan to value (LTV)
Nationwide Application01/09 - confirmation of application being received
11/09 - Alert from Clear Score of hard check being carried out
25/09 - Spoke with Nationwide via 'web chat' box on their website and they confirmed our documents hadn't been reviewed yet
27/10 - request for payslips (even though they were provided to our broker at the beginning of the application)
31/10 - Mortgage appointment with Barclays to explore Springboard mortgage options0 -
Agree but the only lender offering 90% LTV so would be a shocker to many if they did stop lending!GN2020 said:

I can’t see for a second that they’ll look for another buyer. Even if they did, they’d still have a hefty wait so why start all over again when you’re a week away from the valuation.hburnett163 said:

I know they work for the seller but that’s just plain spiteful. You’re doing everything you can, they’ll know NW are taking a while (our sellers estate agent knows it) so they’ll just have to be patient a wee while longer.0 -
I know, it would devastate a lot of people. I just figured they’d go the same way as HSBC to cope with the demand, even if it was just for a few weeks.hburnett163 said:

Funny that I've been told the exact same, 30th October. Perhaps that is their standard response today.

Thank you! I literally just asked them what they’re hoping to achieve with the incessant chasing when I’ve literally sent them links to this thread and the website with Nationwide’s timelines!!GN2020 said:

I know they have a job to do but when you’ve blatantly already explained more than once what’s happening, what’s the point in pestering you to that extent?!hburnett163 said:
