I’m just gonna join the NW group as well. My timeline so far:
FTB 80% LTV
Application received 13/10
Valuation booked on 16/10 for 27/10
and now the waiting is killing me...
It’s great to read other people’s stories as I tend to overthink everything which is very stressful. I have a good credit score with Experian and Transunion and excellent with Equifax. Only debt I have is my car finance and paid my credit care off as well- which unfortunately doesn’t show up on my credit file yet. I don’t have any missed payments, defaults etc but I am still paranoid they would find something and say no

So Wales goes in to lockdown again Friday which is probably going to cause issues for our valuation. As if the wait hasn't been long enough
. We'll see what happens. 0 -
I hope it doesn’t cause too much of an issue for you!mh_ww said:So Wales goes in to lockdown again Friday which is probably going to cause issues for our valuation. As if the wait hasn't been long enough

I've been a bit of a lurker on this thread to date, but it's helped to manage my expectations as I was starting to get impatient.....Here's my timeline. For background, this will have been a fairly straightforward application - 20% LTV for a house move, borrowing around 1 times annual salary, employed with same employer for 5 years & v. good credit rating.07/09 - Initial discussion with broker08/09 - sent all documents to broker11/09 - mortgage submitted to Nationwide14/09 - valuation booked (Nationwide only did a desktop valuation, so I had a homebuyers survey arranged independently)23/09 - valuation confirmed09/10 - provided additional info on source of deposit19/10 - mortgage offer received (text confirmation)In total about 5 & a half weeks from Nationwide receiving the application to making the offer.Good luck to those waiting.1

First time poster, seeking any suggestions.
Joint application 30/9
Valuation text 1/10
Called 15/16/17 to be told each day we would hear. Call 19/10 they have determined a zero valuation desktop using only the Home Report (Scottish sale) which determined a valuation in current state of £240k and suitable for mortgage purposes - it does need refurbishment but this has came as a shock, we were preparing for a possible retention, not a zero valuation.
Complaint lodged but not hopeful so currently seeking an alternative lender but time is of the essence for the seller.0 -
yes not nice is it, as mine is being done manually (due to them having to over-ride the computer saying no) i'm wondering if this will take longer, also they did x 3 credit searches on 6/10/20 which i queried why and they going to look into.GN2020 said:
