Morning all
Yesterday turned in to read a book day after my dailies were done and very nice it was too... I did manage to do some admin and DH did the ironing so there was a little flurry of productivity.
Today I have a couple of errands to run and some calls to make, I’m back to the paid stuff tomorrow so I should check and tackle some jobs on the lists too.
Will get wm going and make a 2nd brew and see what’s what.
take care xx8 -
Banking and spending sheets all updated, it's amazing how quickly spending can get out of hand when you don't write it down each day!
WM on again
Vet booked for cat with very matted fur, it seeems to be bothering her now
Optician booked to get DD2 glasses repaired

Good morning! I have been AWOL....
Had a good weekend. Visit from DD2 - we had an appointment at the wedding dress shop, and THE dress has been ordered! She could not stop smiling all weekendWe had a SD visit to a friend & hubby to deliver a 'save the date' card, which was gratefully received, and was good to have a catch up on a pleasant evening in their garden.
Sunday we had a family BBQ at my Mum's BF from school to celebrate her 80th. She had a big party arranged for the night before, but for obvious reasons this had been cancelled, so she was doing several smaller 'do's' for each family group. It was a lovely day, and was good to see my brother and sister at last. They do not live locally, and my brother had been shielding. All is good with our family
Yesterday I had a Teams meeting with the SEN team for the little boy I look after, and his mum. I had tears in my eyes as she was explaining her difficulties, and her fears about covid and what would happen to her boys if she were ill, or died! I knew all this anyway, but it still upset meShe is so lovely, and so intelligent and proactive. I felt a bit dismissed by some of the professionals, but that is usual for childminders! It is a constant battle!
I then took my mum to pick up her 'new' car. She drove back, and I have to admit it was a bit scary at times!!It has been a long time since she has driven me. If we go in her car she always sits in the passenger seat and gets me to drive!!
Food shop on the way home. DH did lots of washing, as he did a challenge for his running club, and it involved wearing 34 tops and running for 34 minutes! They were all sweaty!!
I am working today. I have watered the garden, walked the dog, poo picked in the garden, put on the DW and checked bank accounts and emails. I have also checked my tax account which has now been updated, and claimed the £159 overpayment. Is it just me, or do the HMRC statements, etc. make no sense whatsoever! I find it hard to get my head around, and I am not stupid when it comes to numbers and forms!
Ok - just going to finish our drink and snack then head out to the garden. Have a good day everyone!
Narc0 no, I didn't get out for my NPR last week, and nothing yet this week. And on top of that I weighed myselfI really need to get moving and improve my diet!!

Round.. I finished the blanket and started on a cardigan.. I'm going to get 2 of those done, maybe 3 and a couple of hats.. love newborn stuff it knits up so quickly! We are at the outlaws.. nuff said..
My little kitkats are crying because we are lost, Boog has officially been diagnosed with gender dysphoria so has been put forward for hormone therapy to start but that will likely be another 12-18 months..
I have a video chat thing later for the new neurodiversity pathway being started here so that should be fun.. I have a list of things I want different.. which will be fun arguing with the local authority. They have sent examples of 4 'homepages' for the website.. tbh I couldn't give a rats-arris about those but they have not included any information on the referral process (which is as yet undecided but needs to be included) and no contact page.. so it is basic information with no means to take it any further.. its nonsense!
I have decluttered half my eyebrows this morning so looking a bit less Huxley and a little more Penfold! lol
Home later today though so it's not all bad

I've gone off list but have a sparkly clean bathroom. Also done various admin stuff. New laptop has arrived so I may be gone for some time whilst I try and get it working...I seriously dislike techy stuff until it's up and working so there will probably be a number of choice words9

I've updated my spread sheet for the house spends, I have £700 approx left, once it is gone it gone and that is the end of updating this house, so either it doesn't get done, or I go back to work...............Anyway, I'm trying to get new hearing aid batteries, so ring GP's get told to contact the hospital, so I leave a phone message, today a lovely lady calls me back, and tell me, I cannot have any as I am not one of their patients, OK, so how do I become one of your patients, as my hearing aids 'belong' to the old area NHS I have just left.So it seems I need to contact my GP, (again) get an appointment, once there ask for a referral to the hospital, hospital will send me an appointment, go to the appointment, they will make me new ear moulds, re test my hearing, a few week later call me back to fit the new hearing aids, then they can issue me with batteries!!! blimey what a waste of money, I only need batteries.........I've sorted out one of my sheds and dumped stuff / put back neatly.............loads of room now!Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles
