MorningI was in the WAC from 3am to 6am, then I went back to bed and slept in until 9!!! Must have needed it but now I feel very groggy, first cuppa is made and it’s going to be a slow start for me I think.
Will muster some energy and come back later with a progress report x8 -
Morning.....having a day in the house and going to get on with listy...
But first...a coffee...then going to do a half hour dot to dot next, so I can see where I am going with this pit of mine
LolThe cold never bothered me anyway7 -
Round 2 turned in to WUDUPA x eleventy one. All cutlery, pots, plastics, pans, and baking trays are now WUDU and PA. And so I am actually on list. Thankyou Valli xx
WM load 2 is pegged out and load 3 is about to finish swishing - so it can go out too. There won't be enough room on the line so I'll peg some to the airer and put it out in the sun. That just leave a pair of jeans and whatever DS has just put in the empty laundry bin!!!
Round 3 =
peg out load 3
order masks
breakfast

Ah Round - that explains it. I can see it 'flashing' orange/white so the fist night I thought it culd have been a helicopter. I watch for it at night as CBA in the morning. Fortunately I have lived he long enough to latch on to compass points. (Sense of direction is NOT one of my skills - it's why I'm the proud owner of a satnav).
Fisrt job ticked off - I nipped to town (free parking up till 10:00am with residents permit) to post my cheque into the bank letterbox - they don't open until 10 and shut at 2 due to COVID and it saves me queueing.
I have turned down an invitation to join my colleagues at the pub for a buffet lunch - they're in on a INSET day clearing furniture for decorating and allsorts - as I feel that turning up for the lunch not having been in doing the graft would be taking the pee.
DD's on the phones this morning so vacuuming upstairs is out. Good job it's the kitchen and I am so pleased I did the WU last night as it as air dried overninght. Shall peg out washing, catch up with the ironing then do the kitchen.

Level 1 kitchen done, and a couple of jobs picked off from Level 2 while I was at it. Really need to do the floor, and in utility room, but they will have to wait.Hospital called luckily before we had to leave - DD’s appointment can be a telephone appointment, but they don’t know what time it will happen. Which was exactly why I phoned and checked at the end of last week and was told that it had to be in person. Ah well, it saves us a trip and a hospital experience, although in her head she was prepared for it, and now we are wandering around waiting for the phone to ring. I had promised to drop her into small town to meet her friends afterwards so we are sticking to that plan, and hoping that the consultant calls soon.
LR dusted while I am waiting....6 -
Dogs walked. They had great fun sniffing and exploring so I've just had to bath them both. Having lunch now which is birthday cake.Spend less now, work less later.7

Round 3 completed - except I gave up on breakfast and had lunch instead. Jeans and dark underwear have been swished and pegged out....just a red top left in the laundry hamper (I daren't risk putting it in with denim jeans). PJ and S have been for a SD coffee and PJ identified the poop on the lawn as the product of a small dog. Hmmm - I've seen one or two cats in my garden but no small dogs. Saw a pig once - but that neighbour has moved.
I've also ordered a pack of assorted birthday cards to save money and having to go the shop.
I need to fill up with petrol, but may leave that until this evening - hoping the pumps will be quieter then.
DS and GF are going for a drive to the ice cream parlour this afternoon and have invited me to go with them. Nice to be asked but I'll stay at home. Apparently they are now staying until Wednesday afternoon and then coming back Friday afternoon - and GF is staying at home with me on Sunday whilst DS goes karting. Recalculating meals in my head :-)

DD dropped to meet friends via smaller town so that she could get herself a treat coffee and lunch, which won me best mum accolades, although it will only be temporary. Hospital finally called as I pulled up on the drive, so I was able to lay my hands on all the recent letters, results, tests etc etc which the consultant didn’t seem to be able to see, so she was grateful. It’s a joint clinic with the big city hospital, so it happens.Just having a mix and match snack lunch of mainly OOD bits and bobs from the fridge. Not feeling particularly inspired to fly this afternoon, but of course that is nothing to do with the fact that I need to clean the bathroom 😉7 -
Two kitchen drawers sorted, bathrooms s&sd and their bins emptied and most of back garden is weeded. I'm done now for the day. I have a new book to read.Spend less now, work less later.9
