Morning xx
We had several bouts of torrential rain with thunder and lightening yesterday afternoon / evening - but sunny with blue skies (as forecast) this morning. Airer hung with yesterday's washing is stood outside in the sun and WM is swishing with first load of the day.
DS has gone off for a day's karting with my Dad. GF is wise, she's still tucked up in bed.
Did you see that Fayolle? Weekend Willi went on an adventure! She went to help Narc0. That explains why I couldn't find her.
My brew is going down a treat - nothing quite like that first sip of tea in a morning.
Have a good day

Good morning all
Grey but not actually raining atm, so it will have to be a couple of hours planting at the allotment, then back to see if Weekend Willi is up to kicking me into action. Good luck with that, WW!Tea has been had, still trying to muster up energy and enthusiasm to do something.7 -
I'm washed and dressed, first load of washing is pegged out and second load is swishing. I've fed the birds and put out the recycling. Bed is made. Second brew awaits my attention.
Sky is blue; grass is green; Freddies are coo coo cucking; sun is shining; picture book clouds in the sky. I am content. It's good to recognise those moments in this chaotic world.
Fayolle - WW will not kick. She will woo and entice and suggest baby steps but if you are not inclined to fly she will urge you to listen to what your body, mind and soul are saying to you and rest, recharge, rediscover your joie de vivre.
Live long and prosper

Woke a couple of times but did get back to sleep.
DW x 1; WM x 3. Need to get it pegged out.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Is that English, Valli? I'm guessing 'woke a couple of times' but not sure how 'weeks' fits in. Predictive text always thinks 'I'm going to get dr.'.. is drunk not dressed' Can't imagine where it got that idea
Second load pegged out. Stood watching a big black cloud passing over - oi - Mr Weatherman said 0% chance of rain at 9am did you not get the email??? Then was entranced by 8-10 swifts wheeling and calling above me - from just above my head (duck) to high enough to disappear in the cloud. Ahhh.
WUDUPA a bowl of pots next

All pots, cutlery and pans WUDUPA, plastic WUDU and recycled; baking trays WULTD.
All done whilst listening (and singing along) to a Graham Kendrick CD.

Washing on the line but there are some malevolent-looking clouds coming in from The Duke's direction.

I put the washer on.. raged at the offspring for destroying the house and not lifting a finger to help... loaded the DW chatted to DD1.. and had a cuppa... fluffed off the world and got out my knitting... it makes the world seem tolerable.

All washing dry, brought in and folded. I no longer have to keep one eye on the weather - it can do as it likes now.
I've eaten my lunch, and taken GF's up on a tray. I told her last night that she was welcome to come down or stay in DS's room as she wished. She said that she's be applying for jobs, so I'll leave her to it. The plan is that they both find jobs on this side of the bridge and rent a house in the market town nearby.

Got up at seven, fed the dogs, went back to bed for a couple of hours. Had a bath, took the dogs for a very short walk, then went back to bed for a couple of hours. Now just sitting wondering where my energy has scarpered off to today.Spend less now, work less later.10
