Aw piggers xx Big hugs all round. Small creatures leave big holes in our hearts. Sending love
xx
Nooooooooooo Fayolle you missed the third option! This is what I do - write it all down in a nice sparkly note book from the stash and then ignore it. I am a bad influence - sorry, not sorry. WW knew you weren't motivated and refused to surface today. Luckily I was in the mood to pootle so there's been a flutter if not a flight.
Weatherman wasn't telling fibs - it has just tipped it down on my jeans. Might as well leave them out and see if they dry. Second load has been decanted on to the airer - oops I seem to have washed my debit card and C00p card. Anyone know if washed cards still work? Or is it suck it and see? DS and GF have arrived - I blamed them for bringing the downpour, but they said it was sunny in pigpen land, so it wasn't them.

Torrential! Seems to be easing now though...
Round, we are 2 peas in a pod. I have definitely not been motivated, but have also been pootling. Every room seems to have a half finished job in it - clean washing not put away, dead flowers in vases etc. I’ve sorted these as I have gone, so feeling a bit better about small step progress. Jam is jarred, and all the rocket has been turned into pesto. Winter meals will be very strange at this rate.8 -
Afternoon all
Sofa is gone! Took us the best part of 3 hours to dismantle... it was a tough old beast! 2 trips to the tip done, lounge, stairs and landing thoroughly hoovered to clear up all the mess that was made! Small sofa moved down from my office to the lounge, it will have to go back up when decorating starts...
Bathroom and en-suite cleaned, all other rooms have had quick vac and dust, bins emptied and various bits of gibble cleared.
pooped now, sitting down for the rest of the day.
Sorry for the news Piggers xx9 -

Pigpen non-contact hugs as I know you don't do them.
Weekend Willi helped us today, in preparation for visitors.
Walked slowly up to get a paper this morning after yesterday's extended run; no major aches just a general tiredness.
Mr N blitzed conservatory, even moved chairs and table to sweep underneath them and used a 'special stick' to wind up the cobwebs.
I vacuumed downstairs, tidied lounge a bit, cleaned bathroom, prepared lunch, made biscuits.
Opened greenhouse and did a quick check.
Filled bird feeders.
Managed lunch outside with DB and SIL, had lovely chat then adjourned to conservatory when it started raining. Ate biscuits, drank coffee, chatted more. So lovely to see them.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.8 -
Hi everyone.
Big (((hugs))) to Pigpen and family xx
I joined the WAC at 5.00 againand it has impacted badly on my day - I have achieved very little.
This morning I took some empty jam jars to a friend and received a jar of jam in return. On the way home I picked up more filler for the study wall where the cupboard was removed, as well as dropping off long OOD medications at the pharmacy and calling at the CoOp for fruit.
I received revised quotes for redecoration work plus other bits, which I have accepted, but the man can't start until September. At least that means I will have a liveable (though mostly empty) room for DGC to sleep in when they (hopefully) come at the end of August, and it leaves me time to sort all my FH papers - of which so far today I have flung precisely two whilst adding some more random research to the file. Sometimes I wish that my grasshopper mind would stop jumping around, but then life would be very boring! How else would I have known that my step-great-grandmother opened a temperance hotel in Fenny Stratford and also public baths for railwaymen to wash themselves when they came off shift, before they returned to their bathroom-less terraced housing?
Other than that, I have hoovered the study floor, put together 2 meals, WUDUPA, taken Rosie for her walk, and watched the last part of the Liverpool series of A House Through Time.
Actually, it looks quite a lot now9 -
